We are so excited that Casey and Will's Memorial Day Weekend wedding is featured on Style Me Pretty's Little Black Book Blog today! This wedding was such a great one with a gorgeous couple, lots of vintage and handmade details and a fabulous group of vendors! Since Will just graduated from West Point Academy and Casey is a history buff, they decided to have their revoluntionary themed ceremony and reception at Colonial Dames Headquarters of America in Philadelphia. Michelle from Daneene Makeup, styled everyone's hair and Emily from Cheekadee, did everyone's makeup. Casey and her bridesmaids looked absolutely beautiful! The color scheme for their wedding was a combination of soft pinks and blues to compliment the touches of red, white and blue decor. We created all of their stationery to follow this color scheme. When guests arrived, they were greeted by a self serve drink station that had pitchers filled with "Patriot Punch" and "Liber-Tea" and were poured into "Free Mason" jars tied with twine. Instead of traditional seating, guests chose to sit as either "Loyalists" or "Patriots" and programs fans gave guests their reception assignments. The bouquets were created by Honeybunches Floral, and were mostly large peony blooms and wildflowers. Guest tables were decorated with vintage lace linens, lanterns and antique place settings. The tables were named after famous figures of Revolutionary times. Day by Day Catering created a unique menu that was full of southern comfort food such as, fried chicken, mac and cheese, pulled pork and collard greens. Their stunning (and delicious!) red velvet cake, created by Anna Violet Confections, featured cascading peonies and was placed next to assorted pies, pastries and cookies for guests to enjoy! Matt from Synergetic Sound and Lighting got the party started and kept all of the guests on the dance floor all night! A huge thank you to Pete from 217 Photography for capturing every second of this amazing wedding and doing such wonderful justice to all of the details we included! Brace yourself, there are a ton of images below and lots of fantastic detail shots.
