Teaser Tuesday

Saturday's weather was absolutely perfect for Liz and Mike's wedding at Rockwood Carriage House. Their ceremony was held outside in front of a large tree and their reception had a fall theme. Guests found their placecards pinned to small pumpkins-such a great touch! The cake fit their theme perfectly and had chocolate shavings that looks like branches on each tier!

Check back next Tuesday to see what we're up to this weekend!

Angela and Stephen's Wedding Invitations

Angela and Stephen came to us for their wedding invitations. We used her palette of powder blue and butter yellow and created a really cute layered invitation. Inspired by the path to their ceremony spot, we used a beachy graphic behind the text of the invite, then featured a monogrammed belly band to keep all the inserts organized. Many thanks to Rob from Humbled Eyes Photography for these awesome pics!

Kelly and Tim's Wedding

Kelly and Tim were married in July at the Betsy Ross House in Philadelphia. Kelly and her bridesmaids started their day at Blaze Salon getting their hair and makeup done. Everyone looked fantastic! Sweet Peas created the beautiful florals which were mixes of different shades of pinks and whites. The color scheme for their wedding was a modern combination of turqoise, brown and pink. They held their reception at the Atrium at the Curtis Center and the staff at Cescaphe did an amazing job as they always do. We can't say it enough, they always put on a great reception and the spread of food is out of this world! Kelly and Tim had Il Fiore Bianco provide the lighting and they rented a gorgeous chandelier that added so much to the space! Jellyroll had everyone out of their seats and dancing the night away. Guests used the photobooth provided by Party Picture Booth, for the couple's guestbook and favors for themselves. There was a line the whole night! Thank you to Artistic Imagery for providing us with the great photos you'll see below!

Congratulations Kelly and Tim!

Teaser Tuesday

It was another busy weekend with three weddings. October is turning out to be a beautiful month to get married!

Rebecca and Jesse were married on Saturday at Appleford Mansion. It was our first time working at there and we absolutely LOVED it! The ceremony in front of the willow tree was incredible, the rose garden for cocktail hour was so cozy and the elegant garden themed tent reception was absolutely perfect! We were so fortunate to work with such great professionals on this one- Eric from Waterlily Weddings conducted a beautiful ceremony, Ed from Sage Catering provided the delicious food, Matt from Synergetic Sounds kept the dancefloor completely packed and Christy from Martin's Video caught it all on film. Many many thanks to Tony and Amy from Hoffer Photography for, not only, being awesome to work with, but for capturing some incredible photos! These are two of our favorites- how romantic is this luminary path?

Kay and Doug were married this gorgeous Saturday at the Mt. Lebanon Methodist Church in Wilmington with the reception at Harry's Savoy Ballroom. Both Kay and Doug are in the US Coast guard, so they incorporated little Coast Guard touches into their decor. Their cake was a stunning white fondant with elegant detail. The topper was a family heirloom and fitting to the couple, the cake was cut with a military sword! The first photo was sent to us by Katie Harker, Associate Photographer for Laura Novak Photography.
Melissa and Carl were married at Manufacturer's Golf and Country Club. Their gorgeous ceremony was held outside on the patio. The weather was perfect. The color scheme for their wedding was black, white and purple with damask touches. The candleabras that she rented from us to use as centerpieces, looked gorgeous with the florals provided by In Full Bloom. The room was truly romantic, with all the candlelight on the tables. Jason from Synergetic Sounds and Lighting provided uplighting throughout and it really finished off the room. It was a deep purple and gave the room a royal feel. Jason also was the DJ for the evening and got everyone on their feet and dancing. Here are two of the amazing photos Jennifer Childress Photography sent us. Gorgeous!

Laura and Ross' Wedding

Laura and Ross were married in June at St. Anthony of Padua in New Jersey. In Full Bloom created the beautiful florals, which were all white. The bridesmaid's blue dresses really popped against the white bouquets! Reception centerpieces were manzanita branches surrounded by white flowers and greens. The had a very sleek and simple color scheme of blue, white and gray. The reception was held at the outstanding Merion in the Skylight Ballroom. The food was delicious and the staff was incredible. Their modern cake was topped with two adorable owls in a nest and the groom owl was dressed just like a marine! Martin's Video was on hand to capture the day on film and Carden's Wedding Photography sent us these great photos below. During the reception, guests got to have fun in the photobooth provided by Events by Design, Ltd!

Congratulations Laura and Ross!
