You can't find a couple more in love than Andrew and Anna and their wedding on Saturday was as beautiful as they are inside and out. I've known Anna since we first met at the University of Delaware, so it was such a joy to be a part of her wedding day and make all of her hard work become a reality. Jill Kozar of Up Your Do and Beke Beau dolled the girls up in the morning before Anna got into her gown and Andrew saw her for the first time on the Union League front steps. Though the original plan was to go around the city for photos, the decision to stay inside proved to be the better choice in the end as Anna, Andrew, and their bridal party got to explore the Union League and get photos in fun locations like the basement wine cellar. When it was time for the ceremony, Anna's cousin JP delivered a personal ceremony complete with Andrew reading to Anna in French. Then it was time to head upstairs for cocktail hour and the reception. The ballroom was decorated with large white centerpieces by Robertson's Flowers, perfect for a winter wedding, and vintage pieces including a marquee from Maggpie Vintage Rentals. CTO's Tribeca had the guests dancing all night long and Anna even surprised Andrew by having the band learn his favorite Dropkick Murphys' song. Guests took a break from dancing to take a photo in the Oh Snap Photobooth by Lindsay Docherty Photography who was there to capture the whole day as it unfolded. Thanks to Lindsay for this great sneak peek shot of Anna, Andrew, and their dogs, Jackson, and Seamus. -Caitlin

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a luncheon at the temple before heading to Deerfield Country Club later that evening for the reception. After taking photos in their wedding attire, Samata and Roshin changed into their reception clothes, a suit for Roshin and another beautiful sari for Samata. The reception room at Deerfield was decorated in hues of pinks and gold and Nirali also provided tall branch and floral centerpieces for the guests' tables. Saturday was such an amazing day. It wasn't just because the day ran smoothly, or the vendor team was amazing, or the weather was perfect, or the details were spot on, it was also because Kristen and Michael were such a fun couple and we loved being a part of their wedding day. Proud to Plan has been "part of the family" since we helped plan Michael's brother Chris' wedding, and his sister Kate's wedding, so we were excited to be back with this great family again. The day started with hair and makeup at Luxe Lancaster before the girls headed over to the Firehouse at Landis Valley Museum to get dressed. Sean Gearhart from Charm City Piper played the bagpipes as guests entered the ceremony in the courtyard and as the bridal party walked down the aisle. After their self-uniting ceremony, complete with friends reading marriage advice, guests enjoyed lawn games during cocktail hour. They then entered the yellow barn for the reception catered by Harvey's Bar-B-Q with music by Rick from Top Hat Entertainment. The barn was decorated with twinkle lights and rustic wooden box centerpieces and single blooms in vases from Splint's and Daisies along with gold spray painted pumpkins, gourds, and pinecones made by the bride and groom. For dessert, College Town Bakeries set up a delicious display of five different cakes, homemade pumpkin roll, and cookies. The day was beautifully captured by the oh-so-talented Christina and Brian from Shaw Photography Co. who were such a joy to work with. The pair made a six hour trek from down from Buffalo for the wedding and as you can see, these images are well worth it. Congratulations Kristen and Michael! -Caitlin

Corey and Nick's Wedding

When Corey and Nick were planning their wedding for last January, they wanted it to look like a winter wonderland and they got just that! Snow began to fall the morning of the wedding leaving a few inches of fresh snow on the ground for their photos. Corey and her bridesmaids started the day with hair and makeup before getting dressed. The bridesmaids wore black chiffon dresses with a gray sash and the Maid of Honor wore a gray dress with a black sash to stand out! Corey's satin wedding gown featured a lace back and she finished off her look with a cape! They were married in the galleries of the Museum in front of their closest friends and family in a personal ceremony. The couple took all of their photos before their ceremony so that they were able to join their guests for a delicious cocktail hour. Meanwhile, we were prepping the reception space. Beautiful white trees were placed near the doors of the reception space so that guests felt like they were outside in the snow and the tables were topped with branch arrangements with hanging Christmas tree ornaments that served as one of the favors. Guests were also treated to Cinderella candle favors, hot cocoa mix, and a bag of M&M's. Another fun detail from their wedding was the dueling groom's cakes! One with the Denver Broncos logo and the other with the Baltimore Ravens logo- the couple's favorite teams! Everyone let loose after dinner and danced the night away.

Congratulations Corey and Nick!

After everyone was dressed and ready, we headed to St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church where Father Joyce led the ceremony. They were announced husband and wife and then headed out for some great photos with Studio K Photography. Guests were so excited to see the new Mr. and Mrs. and showed their excitement by dancing all night long with the help of Illusions DJ. Overall the day was simply beautiful and included so many personal touches from the bride and groom. Congratulations Greg and Andrea! -Annemarie
Cate and Keith were married on Sunday with their closest friends and family in attendance, and even though it was a small guest list, it was a HUGE event and one of the most fun and beautiful that we've ever been a part of! Their photographer, Jennifer Childress, recommended our services to the couple when they were considering hosting a wedding in a barn on their property. The minute I got onsite and saw the space and met the couple, I knew it was a perfect match! Cate's a big Pinterest fan and wanted the wedding day to show off all the fun details she had been compiling on her wedding boards. We went with a rustic theme, complete with lots of burlap, lace, candlelight, vintage touches, great food, and organic floral designs. Our friends from Starr Events put together a delicious menu consisting of an amazing raw bar, seasonal salad, yummy entrees, and a dessert display of pies, cakes, and even a Coldstone Creamery sundae bar! Then, the AMAZING guys from Synergetic Sound and Lighting draped the barn in fabric and string  lights to create an unbelievable look! Our go-to gang for all vintage accessories, Maggpie Vintage Rentals, helped us select furniture and a bar for our vintage lounge, which looked beyond perfect in the space. Party Rental's farm and picnic tables were the perfect foundation for gorgeous floral design by Miss Fancy Plants, and we brought in a ton of rental items to fill in the centerpieces and decor. An intimate lakeside ceremony was conducted by Judge John Murray, and then following dinner, we were treated to a spectacular fireworks display, courtesy of the couple! Once the fireworks ended, the whole party moved into their tavern to cheer on the Eagles on their shut-out against the NY Giants! It was an unforgettable event with fantastic vendors and an awesome couple and I'm so honored we were a part of it. Congrats Cate and Keith! -Erin

In between getting their hair and makeup they relaxed and enjoyed a catered breakfast. Sara then headed over to Hotel Monaco to get into her stunning lace gown. Ron, from Faith West Photography, was on hand to capture their first look and the 2nd Bank Building and then headed out into the gardens for photos with their bridal party, while Damon, also from Faith West, captured all of the fun they had on video! Everyone then headed to the National Museum of American Jewish History for the ketubah signing and then the ceremony. Their ceremony was held on the 5th floor of the museum and once the coupled exited the space, we escorted guests down to the concourse for a delicious cocktail hour. The dinner and dancing portion of the evening was held back up on the 5th floor and was filled with lovely and touching speeches from the couple's parents and family. Tables were topped with pretty florals done by Nature's Gallery Florist. When it was time to kick the party into high gear, the Ken Ulansey Band turned up the tempo of songs and got the guests out onto the dance floor. It was a perfect day from start to finish and we were so happy to be there to help! Mazel Tov Sara and Jared! -Lisa
