NYEPhilly.com 12midnight at The Crystal Tea Room

It's that time of year again!!!  Time to ring in 2011 with NYEPhilly.com!!!  12Midnight is Philadelphia's hottest New Year's Eve Party and we're lucky enough to be managing the event again this year!!

It all starts at the BEAUTIFUL Crystal Tea Room atop the Wanamaker Building. If you've been to parties here before, it is no surprise to you that this is one of the hottest event spots in they city.  The Grand Ballroom, with its hand-carved columns and intricate crystal chandeliers, acts as the backdrop for an evening to remember.

The Philadelphia Funk Authority will be providing the entertainment for the evening, alongside DJ Mark Robuck and DJ Ed Smooth in the VIP area.  Funtown Productions will have some seriously sexy entertainment on hand, too! The hoopers and dancers will be performing again this year, but they are also showing off a new bodypainting display!!  Add in special lighting, over 1500 new people to meet, a balloon drop, 2 huge screens streaming the action in Times Square, and Gentleman Jack VIP area in the 50-foot glass ceiling atrium, and guests will be in awe as soon as they walk in!!

Our sponsors have put together a bunch of really amazing things, too!  Korbel is hosting the VVIP Lounge and will be passing around some delicious champagne cocktails all night!  FUZE has developed a bunch of FUZEtinis that I'm sure everyone will love!  Popchips and MGD64 will be everywhere for guests to grab and enjoy!  Guests can visit the Photo Boxi in the Southern Comfort Lounge or put a bid in at the Grandstand Sports Silent Auction- proceeds benefit CHOP and Philly Kick for the Cure!   There's so much going on!!

We hope you'll be joining us for this one-of-a-kind New Year's Eve celebration- guests are sure to be impressed and more importantly, have one awesome time ringing in 2011.  If you weren't lucky enough to score tickets to this sold out event, we have Karlo Photography covering the details, so we'll be sure to show off his awesome pics later!!!

Happy New Year!!!!

Melissa and Carl's Wedding

Melissa and Carl were married on a beautiful day in October at Manufacturer's Country Club. Their ceremony was held the patio which overlooks the golf course. The girls started their day with hair by Natalie Pagano and makeup done by Emily of Cheekadee. Everyone looked fantastic! The Wedding Pastor, Andy Mahaney, performed a wonderful ceremony under an arch made by the couple's florist, In Full Bloom. We reused the arch behind the sweetheart table during the reception. There were so many great details in the wedding and Jennifer Childress Photography captured them all. Melissa got all of the black, white, purple and damask signage and her invitations from Etsy, along with the sugar flowers for their cake which was made by Bredenbeck's Bakery. Her cake stand was brought from Sarah's Stands! They rented our black candelabras for their table and their florist provided small arrangements to go around. The room was transformed when Jason from Synergetic Sounds, up lit the ballroom in a dark purple. Jason was also their DJ for the night and had everyone on their feet and dancing and Evideo Productions was on hand to capture it all! A big thank you to Jennifer Childress Photography for these amazing images!

Congratulations Melissa and Carl!

Here is a thank you note from Melissa we received shortly after their wedding:

Hi Girls,

I wanted to send a note over thanking you and your team on making our wedding day such a success! The organization leading up to the big day was so extremely helpful in keeping my head straight! The day of assistance from Lisa and Team was unbelievable! From Lisa on the floor doing her best to clean up my dress, to rallying up missing family members for portraits, to all the beautiful decorating and item placement, to keeping the entire day in-check for me - Ahh, I could go on and on!!! I'm so thankful and grateful that I worked with you girls - you made my wedding day that much more special! I don't know how anyone can have a wedding without you! :)

Take care and wishing Proud To Plan continued future success!

Love,
Melissa

A Thank You Note

Here is a thank you note from one of our recent weddings at Cescaphe.  Krista was the Lead Coordinator, Annemarie was the assistant and Erin just helped with planning and stationery details...

Hi Erin & Krista
Just wanted to Thank You for an amazing job done.  Shelly and Brett's wedding was absolutely wonderful and everything turned out fantastic.  From our first phone conversation, meetings, stationary selection to the rehearsal and wedding there was an enormous amount of details that you put all in order which allowed us to enjoy this special experience.  You had an answer for any question I had and really calmed the anxiety of putting a wedding together. Your services for any Bride would be highly recommended but as Mother of the Bride having you as Day of Coordinator, which by far is more than just a Day Of, was the best decision I made in this entire event.  Your expertise was immeasurable.  The Cescaphe remarked how they enjoy working with you as well as the photographer and band.
Krista, Thank you also you did a wonderful job. You handled those last minute changes of putting the candles in the centerpieces and seating our guest who we thought was coming after dinner with ease and Church ran so smoothly also.
The honeymooners will be home this evening, they are having a great time.  I hope you saw some of Shelly's pictures on Facebook she smiled the whole day.  Have a Happy Holiday and again I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.
Sincerely
Gerry (Mother of the Bride)
Thank you SO MUCH for the kind note, Gerry! We loved all the fun we had planning alongside you and are thrilled Shelly & Brett had a perfect day!

Marian and Brian's Wedding

This October, Marian and Brian were married at the stunning St. John the Baptist Church in Manayunk. Marian and all of the bridesmaids started their day at Salon Norman Dee, everyone looked beautiful! Their hairstyles were classic and stayed in placed throughout the night. Ring of Roses in Havertown, created the florals which were a combination of purple, green and magenta to match their color scheme. We did their paper; invitations, ceremony programs, seating chart, place cards and donation cards. We used their monogram and scroll on everything and they had Fairytale Events put the monogram on the dance floor. Vince from DJ's for All Occasions was on hand to get everyone out of their seats and dancing at the reception, which was held at Celebrations. Hornberger's made the delicious cake which also used the couple's color scheme. A big thank you to Douglas Benedict Photography for sending us these images!

Congratulations Marian and Brian!

Marian was so sweet to write us this thank you note following their wedding:

Erin, The wedding was amazing. It was undoubtedly, by far the best day of my life. Everything went off without a hitch! (and if there were any problems, I sure as heck didn't hear about it!) Lisa hussled her tail off - she was RUNNING all day! She did an amazing job - I lost count of how many times my mom hugged and kissed her and pinched her cheeks!! The stationary was MAGNIFICENT - TJ's work is truly artistic and I couldn't have asked for anything better or different when it came to everything paper-related! Please give him my sincerest thanks!!

I can't thank you enough, either, for all your help and your tremendous organization and thoughtful, wise suggestions. I'm so glad I had a team like yours to rely on because I got exactly what I wanted- I got to enjoy the day without stressing out about ANY of the finer details. Everything was just going on around me and I got to drink it all up! There is no way the day would have gone so smoothly without the Proud to Plan team. Thank you from the bottom on my heart.

Wishing you nothing but fortune and success in the future. Thank you again for a wonderful day (and year!).

Love,
Marian
