Janet & Chris' Wedding

Janet has been down in the trenches, planning every dirty detail of her dream wedding for many, many, months! I am so fortunate to have been part of their day- too see every plan come to fruition is so rewarding and the 2nd top reason I love my job. The 1st reason is because my brides become friends. I love Janet like we've known eachother for years and was so happy she got the perfect day (week) she deserves!

The bridal party started the festivities at the Henlopen Hotel, drinking champagne, getting gorgeous and sharing many laughs!

The bouquets, by Bayberry Flowers, were absolutely beautiful and exactly what Janet wanted!
Then over to Cape Henlopen State Park for a pre-ceremony photo shoot and bride & groom "meeting" at the water's edge.

The wedding ceremony took place on the beach at Surf & Park Avenues in Rehoboth. It was a perfect day.
The ceremony was beautifully officiated by Reverand Andy Korcich, it was a fabulous debut! Everything was perfect....except for the guy with the metal-detector who decided right behind our altar would be the perfect place to search for treasure ;)
Janet was a very considerate bride, having us make program fans to help stave off the heat and offering her guests flip flops and water bottles at the beach. The weather was glorious!
wow! what a radiant bride!
This amazing sand castle was the masterpiece of Randy Hofman. The guests were floored to see it and talked about it all night!
After the ceremony, family formals were super quick so Janet and Chris were able to do a few photos on their own.
The reception was held at Salero on the Beach. The view is breathtaking, the service is excellent and the food... delicious!
We DIY'd Janet's centerpieces and they looked great in the room! It was so beachy and romantic!
I loved her placecards. My very favorite detail of the day! (and we know how I like details!)
Gorgeous cake by Giant and Gam

The bouquet/garter toss was so hilarious- this crew was really fun!

The party lasted all night and into the wee hours, I can vouch-everyone had an awesome time!I cant even begin to explain how much I love this couple. They are loads of smiles and fun and made my job a blast! I wish them nothing but happiness in the years to come!

Janet and Chris hit the motherload when they hired Rob Nicholson of Humbled Eyes Photography. To say he was phenomenal is the understatement of the century!! He's so talented and chill and so much fun to work with. He's totally hands-off, quick with the posed formals and very charming- I wish I did more beach weddings because I'd book him every weekend! As you can see, these photos are positively stunning. Rob ROCKS and his second shooter, Misty Dawn, was awesome, too! If you havent yet hired a photographer, be sure to check him out- you won't be disappointed! He's fantastic- highly recommended!!!!

Michelle & Brian's Wedding Invitations

Michelle and I have been working on these invites for quite some time....now that they are completed, they were worth every second! They are stunning! She used a mix of shimmer and matte papers and a crystal embellishment. I'm sure her guests will be quite impressed!
We'll be using her monogram on her ceremony programs and other paper goods. I cant wait to see everything come together!

Michelle & Dan's Wedding Invitations

I have the pleasure of coordinating Michelle & Dan's wedding this coming August. When she mentioned she was doing a damask and hot pink wedding, I knew exactly what I wanted her invitations to look like! She is so sweet to let me run with it and she absolutely loved the outcome!
I also put together a sample program to show them how all their paper items would coordinate,
me+black&pink=true love forever :P

Nancy and Abel's Invites

My dear friend, Laura, referred her new cousin-in-law to me for wedding invites! Nancy is getting married to Abel in Los Angeles this summer and I was psyched to help her with her vision! She's doing a vintage spanish theme and we used roses and gold gems to tie it all together! I think the look of chocolate and cherry is just gorgeous!

Pamela and David's Invitations

Pamela wanted a very sleek, stylish wedding invitation. Since she's centering her "theme" around dendrobium orchids, we went with a fresh, limey green backing and clean, white face.
Instead of response envelopes, we did a coordinating postcard. They looked great!

Lindsay's Wedding Programs

We also handled Lindsay's invitations, and carried the same monogram into her wedding ceremony programs- she loved them!

Jeff and Colleen's wedding

It's not everyday that a groom contacts me to plan a wedding, usually, I dont even meet them until the rehearsal, so when Jeff called me to get involved, I was stoked! With a newborn at home and an exhausted fiance, Jeff took the reigns and gave his bride a great wedding day!

Sure, all plans were to have an outdoor ceremony at Rockwood Park, but Mother Nature doesnt always cooperate and we were forced to hold the ceremony at the reception venue. Luckily, the staff of Lia's Catering at Naaman's Ballroom stepped up to the plate and gave us an unforgettable event!
Taya from Altared Vows delivered a beautiful ceremony that was full of laughs and a few (happy) tears. Dave Baker played acoustic guitar and his performance was great!
Lucky for us, right after the ceremony, the sun came out and we were able to get some photos outdoors! Thomas Lunt handled the photography and was a blast to work with! He did a really excellent job and we shared many, MANY, laughs!
The ballroom, food and cake by Lia's far exceeded our expectations- they really went above and beyond to make Plan B better than we could've wished for.
The beautiful bouquets were created by Jeff's childhood friend- they looked great!
The best man speech, delivered by the brother of the groom, had the whole room in hysterics- it was quite unforgettable! :)
The guests had a fun time and the dancefloor was packed all night.

I was honored to be a part of Jeff & Colleen's wedding and I'm so thrilled they had a great time!
