Teaser Tuesday

Saturday's weather was touch and go for a while, but the sun was shining when Allison and Danny's garden ceremony took place! We were so lucky to have the gorgeous grounds of Winterthur as a backdrop, but then add the amazing floral designs from Honeybunches, and the awesome lighting from Synergetic Sound and Lighting, and you've got a fairytale wedding come true! Allison and Danny's guests enjoyed dancing to music by Matt from Synergetic and they loved the yummy cake from Master's Baker. AFR handled our lounge furniture rentals and New Milford Productions caught the whole day on video. Many thanks to Mike and Jana from mkPhoto for taking some gorgeous photos and, as always, being so fabulous and fun to work with! Congratulations to Allison and Danny! -Erin

Anna and Josh's Wedding

Anna and Josh were married in September at the DuPont Country Club in Delaware. This fun loving couple wanted their guests to have a great time at their classic but FUN wedding! Anna wore a gorgeous off white A-Line gown that had a beaded belt to add a bit of sparkle and even had pockets! She accessorized her gown with a simple pearl necklace, a flower for her hair and simple veil. The bridesmaids wore long chiffon clover green dresses to match the green, pink, and white color scheme for the wedding. The Hotel DuPont made the perfect backdrop for the couple's romantic first look before they met up with their bridal party for photos. The ceremony was held outside and they let the grounds act as most of the decoration, just adding two altar pieces to pull in a little more color. Their ceremony was performed by a father of one of the groomsmen who flew in from Texas, making their ceremony special and personal! Inside the ballroom, floral arrangements in pink, green, and white, topped the tables. The taller arrangements were filled with green apples to add an extra pop of the color green to the room! Guests' tables were named after the couple's favorite restaurants. Mantles and fireplaces were decorated with candles to add warmth to the country club. They chose to do thumbprint tree guestbook instead of a traditional guestbook, and as usual, it was a huge hit! Anna's father surprised the newlyweds with a framed Chinese double happiness symbol and guests were checking it out all night. They cut into their 3 tiered cake which featured ruffles on the bottom and two tiers of silver swirly piping!

Congratulations Anna and Josh!

Laura and Hayden's Wedding

Last September was filled with a lot of great weather for our brides and grooms and Laura and Hayden's big day was no exception! There were a lot of special and unique touches to their wedding. They chose to keep their bridal party small so Laura and her three bridesmaids started their day with hair and makeup. The girls wore beautiful long navy blue gowns and Laura's gown was a gorgeous fit and flare lace gown. Laura was a stunning bride! Hayden asked his football friends to serve as ushers and they wore black tuxes to match Hayden and his two groomsmen. The church decor was kept simple with floral pew bows and altar arrangements. A special touch was the lilac that was attached to each of the wedding programs, making the church filled with a lovely aroma! After they walked down the aisle as husband and wife, they headed out for pictures with their photographer, stealing kisses the entire time. You could really see the love between them! Meanwhile, guests were invited over to the Glencairn Museum for cocktail hour and a few toasts. They were able to take tours of the museum while they were there! Instead of a traditional sit down dinner, this laid back couple chose to treat their guests to a cocktail reception filled with lots of hors d'oeurves and delicious drinks. There were no table assignments so guests were able to choose their own seats at a mix of high and low tables decorated with eclectic clusters of vases. They surprised everyone with a choreographed first dance complete with a costume change into professional dancing costumes! It was a hit with everyone! It was really important to them for their guests to have a great time and do a lot of dancing- and the guests did exactly that! While everyone was on dancing the night away, they were treated to late night snacks on the dancefloor that included grilled cheese and french fries. A full dessert room was also set up and was filled with yummy treats and a large cannoli filled with small cannolis! It was a memorable night for everyone!

Congratulations Laura and Hayden!
