Teaser Tuesday

We hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving holiday! We ended our holiday weekend with two wonderful weddings. First up is Tricia and Justin's wedding, their ceremony was held at St. Mark's Episcopal Church and the reception was held at the Down Town Club. Their wedding colors were aubergine and champagne and they had some great details throughout their wedding. The one we wanted to show off right now was their wishing tree! Petals Lane provided the couple with it and there were four different types of cards to write on, it was a huge hit! A big thanks to Synergetic Sounds for putting a pinspot on the tree that brought a lot of attention to it.
Barbara and Rob's wedding was on Saturday at Washington Memorial Chapel followed by their reception at The Desmond Hotel. They had a light Christmas theme to their wedding, naming their tables after the 12 days of Christmas and using Erin's sleigh cake stand. Instead of a traditional guestbook, they had all of their guests sign tiles that they are going to frame a mirror with. The tartan plaid linen the tiles were placed on were a nod to Rob's Scottish roots.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Today, and actually everyday, I am thankful for the people that make this job worth it!!!  My staff is incredible, my fellow wedding professionals are amazing, and I have truly found a FAMILY in all of you!  This has been a crazy and FUN and unbelievable year.....and we've loved every second of it!!!!!

THANK YOU!!!!

Lindsay and Kevin's Wedding

Lindsay and Kevin's were married this September at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Delaware. This was a really special wedding to us because Kevin was the best man in Erin and TJ's wedding and Lindsay is one of our paper production assistants! Their wedding was full service and we did all of their paper; save the dates, invitations, ceremony programs, table numbers, menus and all reception signage. The color scheme for their wedding was navy and fuchsia. The flowers, done by Petals Lane, matched perfectly to all of the paper. All of the girls started the wedding day by getting their hair done by Natalie Pagano. The girls chose beautiful hair styles that looked great throughout the night. Their reception was held at The Old Mill and Conner Catering had a wonderful spread of food. Lindsay and Kevin had a monogram gobo on their dancefloor provided by Synergetic Sounds. Matt from Synergetic, was their DJ and had everyone out of their seats and dancing the night away! Their cake was made by Doughmain Bakery and was adorned with dots and swirls, it was also really delicious! A big thank you to Jennifer Childress Photography who sent us these amazing pictures! Jenn also set up a photo booth in the courtyard of The Old Mill. It was a huge hit!

Congratulations Lindsay and Kevin!
