Teaser Tuesday

We had two fabulous weddings this past weekend! It may have been a little chilly but the sun was shining the whole day, making for some great photo sessions!

Our first teaser is from Traci and Mik's wedding at Spring Mill Country Club. It was such a fun and amazing day! DJ's Available, Sharyn Frenkel Photography and Persempre Videos were awesome to work with! Their colors were purple and blue with swirls and we did their day of paper: programs, table number tents and signage for their candy buffet. We transformed their formal ceremony room into an amazing ballroom reception during cocktail hour. Brittany from Petals Lane, rocked the house with three different centerpieces, which we embellished with candles. The candy buffet was a mix of everyone's favorite blue and purple candies and we ended the evening with a sparkler sendoff!
Our second wedding was Kate and Mike's at The Rittenhouse Hotel. They had their reveal meeting in Rittenhouse Square Park and then went around the city for some pictures. Their color scheme was a very natural one, with mostly whites and touches of gold and silver. Their florist, Evantine Design, completely blew us away with the design of the room. Their chuppah made such a statement and the aisle was lined with beautiful candles. After the ceremony, the entire room was transformed again and the couple and their guests were amazed at how it looked! CTO's Park Avenue band kept the party going all night long and guest were treated to the biggest candy buffet we've ever seen!
Congratulations to this weekend's couples and keep your eyes on the blog to see their full posts!

Must Have Monday

Must Have Monday is here again and this week it is the shoe edition! I was inspired by my bride on Saturday who had the most fabulous Jimmy Choo's. I spent a good amount of time searching and found some of my top picks. Why don't I show you the dream shoes first?
I KNOW, right?? Well, we all don't have the budget for these but that's why they're the dream shoe! But they are pretty and if you can get them, please do! Then send them to me so I can prance around in my house. So pretty! Find these here.
I also love these shoes I found on BHLDN. Simple but oh so pretty and you could definitely wear them again. Find these beauties here.
These are the shoes our bride Kate wore on Saturday. They were even more sparkly in person! Find these stunners here.
I love the fabric flower on the back of these. I think these shoes could be wore again as well. Find them here.
I gravitate to anything with fabric flowers, so these were an obvious choice. They're really simple but make such a statement. Find them here.
And last but not least, another Badgley Mischka shoe. The brooch on this shoe is simply amazing! Find these here.

I hope you enjoyed my shoe picks for this week's Must Have Monday! Have you chosen your shoes yet? Show us! We love all things shoes!!

Must Have Monday

Spring is here and I'm getting antsy waiting for the flowers to bloom. So today's edition of Must Have Monday is all about flower hair accessories! If you're a more modern bride, you could opt out of wearing a veil and just go with a hair piece or wear it under your veil. They'd all be fantastic as a reception hair piece as well.

The first two are from drool-worthy BHLDN, Anthropolie's bridal line. I've been eyeing these up for a few weeks now and I think they are beautiful. The second one would also look great for your bridesmaids. Find the first one here and the second here.
The next three are from my all time favorite for all things handmade, Etsy. First is this stunning flower and birdcage combo. I love birdcage veils- they're so classic! Find the birdcage here and the flower here. Check out the rest of the flowers in this etsy shop...gorgeous!
The next is definitely on the modern side and I love the way this fabric flower looks! I also like that it is made out of handmade and vintage components. Find this hair piece here.
Lastly, for the ethereal and unique bride, a lovely handmade flower garland. It makes a huge statement without going overboard. Simple but gorgeous! Find this garland here.

Rebecca and Jesse's Wedding

Rebecca and Jesse were married on a gorgeous October afternoon at the Appleford Estate. Their ceremony took place in front of a beautiful pond and willow tree on the grounds of the Estate. Waterlily Weddings officiated their ceremony and did a fantastic job making it personal. The color scheme for their wedding was sage green, plum with lavender accents. Fleur De Lis created the bouquets and centerpieces. The centerpieces were wrought iron urns filled with roses, antique hydrangeas, freesia and dahlias and made for an elegant garden feel. We used antique plates in 5 different designs as chargers. The reception was catered by Sage Catering and their spread of food was unbelievable! We provided their ceremony programs and menus and Calligraphy by Aimee, provided the place cards and table numbers. We lined the stone tent walls with large black lanterns and when the sun went down, it looked stunning. Matt from Synergetic Sounds opened the dance floor with a 3-song dance set accompanied by songs that Jesse’s late father had recorded, it was an amazing moment and Martin's Video was on hand to capture it. Their cake was created by Aux Petits Delices and was delicious! A big thanks to Tony and Amy of Hoffer Photography for these incredible images!

Congratulations Rebecca and Jesse!

Must Have Monday

This week's edition of Must Have Monday is all about cuff links! They are a perfect detail that you can personalize for your groom! There are so many options out there, but here a few of my favorites that I've come across.

These cuff links are smooth on the outside and can be customized with a secret message on the inside. Perfect for a groom who wants something personal and subtle. You can find these here.

These are so classic looking and I think would be great for a literary themed wedding! Find these here.
Burberry is always a classic choice but I really like them in this beautiful plum color. You can find these here.
Not very traditional but I think they're so fun! Find these here.

Happy Monday!
