Katie and Bobby had gorgeous weather for their big day. The girls started their day at Salon by Dominic getting their hair and makeup done and then headed back to the bride's house to relax for a bit and finish getting ready. Katie and her family took some beautiful photos in her family's yard and then headed to St. Mary the Assumption Church where Father Dillingham performed a beautiful and entertaining ceremony. Barnyard Photography was there to capture the day along with TAG Visual Media- I can't wait to see what they got! Thanks to the incredible weather, guests were able to enjoy the outside patio area at Deerfield Country Club for cocktail hour while the newlyweds enjoyed the foliage as they took pictures together. The Corner Boys kept the party going all night and guests enjoyed an awesome Halloween themed candy buffet following dinner. Guests even enjoyed a traditional dance to Second Line, to honor the groom's family. We had such a wonderful time with Katie and Bobby, and are so glad we were able to be a part of their big day. We wish you guys all the best! -Becky
Sunday was another beautiful day for a wedding! Alisa started her day with her bridesmaids and the ladies from Gloss Salon doing hair and makeup. Once they were ready, they headed to Rockwood Park for the couple's first look and bridal party and family photos. When pictures were complete, everyone headed over to Adas Kodesch Shel Emeth for the ceremony and reception. Before the ceremony, Alisa, Jacob, and their families gathered for the Ketubah signing, and then the women went to one room for the Bedeken and the men went to another for the Tisch. Jacob was danced out to greet Alisa traditionally, and cover her face with a veil. There was much rejoicing and some special prayers, and then it was time for their traditional Jewish ceremony. Guests kicked off the party with an extended cocktail hour with food created by Boscov's Catering and then started the dancing portion of the night by watching the newlyweds first dance followed by a 20+ minute Hora! Matt and Laurie of Werth Photography and the guys from Merryweather Films were on hand to capture the day and DJ Steve of VIP DJ Entertainment kept the party going all night. It was a fun day we're so glad we were there to share it with Alisa and Jacob. Congratulations! -Becky

Corey and Nick's Wedding

When Corey and Nick were planning their wedding for last January, they wanted it to look like a winter wonderland and they got just that! Snow began to fall the morning of the wedding leaving a few inches of fresh snow on the ground for their photos. Corey and her bridesmaids started the day with hair and makeup before getting dressed. The bridesmaids wore black chiffon dresses with a gray sash and the Maid of Honor wore a gray dress with a black sash to stand out! Corey's satin wedding gown featured a lace back and she finished off her look with a cape! They were married in the galleries of the Museum in front of their closest friends and family in a personal ceremony. The couple took all of their photos before their ceremony so that they were able to join their guests for a delicious cocktail hour. Meanwhile, we were prepping the reception space. Beautiful white trees were placed near the doors of the reception space so that guests felt like they were outside in the snow and the tables were topped with branch arrangements with hanging Christmas tree ornaments that served as one of the favors. Guests were also treated to Cinderella candle favors, hot cocoa mix, and a bag of M&M's. Another fun detail from their wedding was the dueling groom's cakes! One with the Denver Broncos logo and the other with the Baltimore Ravens logo- the couple's favorite teams! Everyone let loose after dinner and danced the night away.

Congratulations Corey and Nick!

Thank goodness for the rain's departure on Saturday afternoon for Greg and Andrea's wedding! The couple started their day at the Westin Mount Laurel. Gloss Salon was on hand to pamper the girls with hair and makeup. After hair and makeup was complete, the bride put on her beautiful dress, complete with pieces of Greg's mother's wedding dress sewn onto her dress. She also made herself a clutch using material from her mom's wedding gown! After everyone was dressed and ready, we headed to St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church where Father Joyce led the ceremony. They were announced husband and wife and then headed out for some great photos with Studio K Photography. Guests were so excited to see the new Mr. and Mrs. and showed their excitement by dancing all night long with the help of Illusions DJ. The ballroom was decorated with beautiful, tall white orchids by Leigh Florist, and we can't forget the yummy cake by Diane's La Patisserie! Overall the day was simply beautiful and included so many personal touches from the bride and groom. Congratulations Greg and Andrea! -Annemarie
Cate and Keith were married on Sunday with their closest friends and family in attendance, and even though it was a small guest list, it was a HUGE event and one of the most fun and beautiful that we've ever been a part of! Their photographer, Jennifer Childress, recommended our services to the couple when they were considering hosting a wedding in a barn on their property. The minute I got onsite and saw the space and met the couple, I knew it was a perfect match! Cate's a big Pinterest fan and wanted the wedding day to show off all the fun details she had been compiling on her wedding boards. We went with a rustic theme, complete with lots of burlap, lace, candlelight, vintage touches, great food, and organic floral designs. Our friends from Starr Events put together a delicious menu consisting of an amazing raw bar, seasonal salad, yummy entrees, and a dessert display of pies, cakes, and even a Coldstone Creamery sundae bar! Then, the AMAZING guys from Synergetic Sound and Lighting draped the barn in fabric and string  lights to create an unbelievable look! Our go-to gang for all vintage accessories, Maggpie Vintage Rentals, helped us select furniture and a bar for our vintage lounge, which looked beyond perfect in the space. Party Rental's farm and picnic tables were the perfect foundation for gorgeous floral design by Miss Fancy Plants, and we brought in a ton of rental items to fill in the centerpieces and decor. An intimate lakeside ceremony was conducted by Judge John Murray, and then following dinner, we were treated to a spectacular fireworks display, courtesy of the couple! Once the fireworks ended, the whole party moved into their tavern to cheer on the Eagles on their shut-out against the NY Giants! It was an unforgettable event with fantastic vendors and an awesome couple and I'm so honored we were a part of it. Congrats Cate and Keith! -Erin
Sunday was a wonderful day for Sara and Jared's wedding! Sara and her closest ladies started their day in a suite at the Omni Hotel with hair and makeup done by the staff at the hotel's salon. In between getting their hair and makeup they relaxed and enjoyed a catered breakfast. Sara then headed over to Hotel Monaco to get into her stunning lace gown. She wore a bolero during the ceremony and cocktail hour and then took it off for the reception- it was beautiful! Ron, from Faith West Photography, was on hand to capture their first look and the 2nd Bank Building and then headed out into the gardens for photos with their bridal party, while Damon, also from Faith West, captured all of the fun they had on video! Everyone then headed to the National Museum of American Jewish History for the ketubah signing and then the ceremony. Their ceremony was held on the 5th floor of the museum and once the coupled exited the space, we escorted guests down to the concourse for a delicious cocktail hour. The dinner and dancing portion of the evening was held back up on the 5th floor and was filled with lovely and touching speeches from the couple's parents and family. Tables were topped with pretty florals done by Nature's Gallery Florist. When it was time to kick the party into high gear, the Ken Ulansey Band turned up the tempo of songs and got the guests out onto the dance floor. It was a perfect day from start to finish and we were so happy to be there to help! Mazel Tov Sara and Jared! -Lisa

The rain cleared just in time for Laura and Emil to tie the knot Saturday in a rustic chic wedding. The day started with a ceremony at Saints Agatha and James Church in West Philly and ended at the Horticulture Center in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park. Their wedding was a blend of Laura's Panamanian heritage and Emil's Italian heritage and hosted guests from both countries and over 16 different states. Theresa Floral Design decorated the spaces with lots of vintage bud vases and antique lanterns and the tables had beautiful wood table numbers that the couple rented from us. Starr Events created a lavish spread of meats and cheeses, short ribs, salmon, and several mini desserts to choose from. The ombre cake was created by Bredenbeck's Bakery. Eventions Productions lit up the dance floor with market lights and guests danced all night to the music from Elan Artists- Rhythm Collective. At the end of the night, everyone headed back to the hotel for an afterparty! Jen Woodruff from JW Studio captured great shots throughout the day and we can't wait to see them, but for now, here are a few of our snapshots. -Caitlin
The rain faded away and the sun came out for Tara and Sean's special day. The girls started the day at Novello Salon for hair and makeup- everyone looked beautiful! They then headed back to Tara's parents home to eat and relax a bit before getting into their dresses. Once everyone was dressed, they headed over to Winterthur Museum for Tara and Sean to share their first look. The day was captured beautifully by Joel Plotkin Photography- there are so many beautiful places to take photos on the grounds at Winterthur. EBE's Imagine provided the music for the ceremony and cocktail hour and they kept everyone on the dance floor for the reception. They kept the party going and even extended the party by a half hour! Everyone enjoyed their wonderful meal prepared by Restaurant Associates and topped off with a delicious 5 tier cake by The Master's Baker. Guests were treated to a midnight snack of cider donuts and pretzels and were able to grab some candy from the candy buffet. It was a fantastic day for an extremely sweet couple and their wonderful families. Congratulations Tara and Sean- we wish you all the best! -Becky

Leigh and Ian's Wedding

Leigh and Ian were married on a brisk day in early April of this year and it was a super special one for us! I've known Leigh for a while now as she is one of my sister's closest friends and Leigh is also best friends with our very own coordinator, Amanda, who was a bridesmaid. The lovely ladies started their day with hair and makeup at the hotel before heading over to the country club to get dressed. The bridesmaids wore gray dresses in their style of choice and Leigh's sister and Maid of Honor, wore a long dress to stand out a bit. Their yellow and white bouquets were a perfect fit for the yellow and gray color scheme. Leigh wore a beautiful strapless gown with a lace bolero and belt and finished off her bridal look with a birdcage veil- she looked stunning! Leigh and Ian had an intimate first look in the garden of the country club and then their bridal party joined in for pictures. Their ceremony was filled with a lot of personal touches, tears, and laughter. After breaking the glass and exiting the ceremony to a lot of clapping and cheering, the couple joined their guests for a delicious cocktail hour while we got to work on flipping the ballroom over for the reception. Tables were topped with low arrangements that featured the bridesmaids bouquets and tall arrangements that had white hydrangea, green leaves, and curly willow that was spray painted gray! The cake was a ruffled ombre yellow to dark gray design topped with Leigh's mother's cake topper. When guests weren't dancing to the great tunes from the band, they were having a blast in the photobooth. It was a wonderful day for a wonderful couple!
