Marcy and Dermot's Wedding

Marcy and Dermot were married last June at Marcy's father's private estate outside of Philadelphia. The couple decided to do a reveal meeting before the ceremony and right before they saw each other, they read love letters from one another on opposite sides of a wall- it made for some great photos! After wrapping up the formal photos, the couple got ready to say I do in front of their closest family and friends. A close friend officiated their ceremony, which added a personal touch. The reception tent ceiling was decorated with paper lanterns hung by Petals Lane and they were then lit in a beautiful purple by Synergetic, to match the rest of purple lighting inside of the tent. The bride made runners and fabric squares that went on each of the tables and were placed under all white floral arrangements which were at differing heights, adding a lot of dimension to the tent! Guests headed into the tent after a delicious cocktail hour and were seated to enjoy their dinner and a fun night of dancing. When they finished eating, they got to enjoy a donut and milk station! Milk is the bride's favorite drink so they chose milk and donuts instead of a traditional cake. The bridal party helped us with a sparkler send off and then the couple hopped into their getaway car, the father of the bride's Aston Martin! Their wedding was also featured on Style Me Pretty in September. If you'd like to see even more photos, go here.

Kelly and Paul's Wedding

Kelly and Paul were married on a gorgeous, sunny day in June. Kelly and her bridesmaids spent the morning in the bridal suite at Cairnwood getting their hair and makeup done and when the time came, getting her into her classic wedding gown. We set the ceremony area in the gardens of Cairnwood, around the fountain. It was a very hot day and luckily guests were able to grab a parasol to protect them from the shining sun. Each guest had a cone of pink rose petals to throw as the couple recessed down the aisle which was a cute touch! While the ceremony was finishing up, we were making sure the last details of the reception were in order. The bride and groom chose to have an open air reception on the veranda. Long feast style tables were set up and topped with pretty as can be pink linens and a lace overlay. Brittany from Petals Lane created the most perfect arrangements for these tables; long, low, and continuous groupings of white hydrangeas and roses, mixed with lots of candles- when the sun set, the veranda was glowing! Guests were able to enjoy croquet on the lawn of the estate and after cake was served, they enjoyed an all pink candy buffet. After the newlyweds cut their cake, all the single women were invited over to participate in the ribbon pull on the bottom layer of the cake! Each woman pulled a charm out and each charm has a special meaning- it was really fun and a nice change up from the traditional bouquet toss. Right after the cake cutting, the bride surprised her groom with a Philadelphia Flyers grooms cake. We passed out orange and black pom poms, Flyer pennants and other Flyers gear- it was a great ending to the night!

Congratulations Kelly and Paul!
