Margaret and Stephen were married on a hot day in the beginning of June in Center City. Margaret and her bridesmaids had a relaxing morning that started with brunch before heading to the suite at Sonesta Hotel to get ready. All of the girls handled their own hair and makeup and they looked great! The bridesmaids wore a gorgeous blue floor length gown that was the perfect pop of color for the wedding's simple color scheme of white and gold. The groomsmen also wore ties that matched the girls dresses and the bride and groom bought each groomsman a specific set of cuff links that were a favorite comic/superhero of each guy- such a great gift! The couple chose to see each other before the ceremony in the gardens out front of the Mellon Center and then headed out around the city for pictures with their bridal party. We were busy at the ceremony setting up the tulle that lined the staircase while the team from Carl Alan, were adding the draping and lighting. The couple said their I Do's and they and their guests headed up to the Pyramid Club, 52 stories above the city. Instead of a traditional reception, they chose to have a laid back party- no seating assignments, not too many formalities but LOTS of dancing and fun! When guests arrived they saw pictures of each of the married weddings guests and the year they were married. Everyone raved about this personal touch and how thoughtful it was of the newlyweds to think of their guests. The cake created by Cake Art Studio was stunning! It had a beautiful floral print pressed into two of the layers and topped off with an awesome sugar flower. Margaret's dad created an awesome photo station wall that guests were in and out of all night. It was a great day followed by an equally great party!
Congratulations Margaret and Stephen!
