Cara and Andy's Wedding

Cara and Andy had a gorgeous (and hot!) wedding day at the beginning of September last year. This couple is so in love with each other and it showed throughout the entire day! Everyone started the day at the Loews Hotel with a casual breakfast for the guys and hair and makeup for the girls. One of the things I loved about this wedding was that they kept their bridal party small- only their siblings stood next to them. But while getting ready, Cara had all of her girlfriends and cousins around to see her get ready. The room was so calm when I got there! They all headed over to the Horticulture Center for the couple's reveal meeting and to hang out for a bit before the ceremony. Their photographer, Jeff, took the bride and groom around with the bridal party for lots of pictures on the sprawling grounds of Fairmount Park. Meanwhile, we were hustling and bustling with setup in the greenhouse. The bride's mother made all of the adorable signs that were placed throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour space, and reception. During the ceremony the couple were married under a Huppah that had ribbon and handkerchiefs hanging from the top. The handkerchiefs had the couple's wedding invitation printed on them! To continue the ribbon theme, the back row of chairs were decorated with ribbons, adding a whimsical touch to the ceremony. Guests enjoyed a delicious cocktail hour and then found their seats for the reception hand written on vintage doors that were decorated with ribbon. The centerpieces were stunning and matched the theme of the day perfectly. The dance floor was packed all night and as a surprise to the couple, their bridal party, family, and friends organized a flash mob! The couple was so surprised! You can see all the action in the video below.
