Le sigh. I LOVE this wedding so much. Chrissi and Baker were an amazingly nice couple who smiled all day long. Although with their great team of vendors, it would be impossible for them not to. The day started at the Downtown Philadelphia Marriott with hair and makeup. Chrissi's gown was incredible- my favorite of last year! It was perfect for her and looked great next to the bridesmaids gray dresses. Chrissi and Baker are Villanova graduates and Baker is currently a coach for the basketball team. There were a lot of current and former basketball players and coaches there- making us all feel quite short ;) Their traditional Catholic ceremony was a great one- their Priest cracked jokes about the couple and kept everything really light. Chrissi is a kindergarten teacher and had asked a few of her students to hand out programs. The were so cute and so excited to see their former teacher all dressed up! While the couple was taking pictures, we were hard at work in the ballroom. Chrissi chose to use a mix of rounds and rectangular tables which looked amazing in the space. Purple pintuck linens topped the tables and then Beautiful Blooms stepped in and finished off the look. They used their faux cherry blossoms- which don't even look faux- and lots of curly willow, with purple and green flowers. The guys from Synergetic added draping behind the band and up lit the room in purple. They also pinspotted the centerpieces, added a band wash, and projected a wash on the dance floor. Guests were blown away when we opened the doors! Everyone danced well into the night to the great music from the band and were treated to an after party.
Congratulations Chrissi and Baker!
