Karen and Joe were another one of our couples from last year that were married on Labor Day Weekend. It was gorgeous (and hot!) day for this fun loving couple. The ladies spent the morning being pampered with hair and makeup before getting in their dresses. Karen looked great in her corseted gown and you never would have guessed that she had just gave birth to the couple's daughter, just four weeks earlier! The bridesmaids wore short gray chiffon dresses to match the wedding's color scheme. After putting on the finishing touches, they headed out to meet the guys so that Karen and Joe could do their first look. They then went around the city for fun pictures before heading to the church to make things official! Their traditional ceremony was conducted by a friend of Joe's who is a Priest. This made for a really personal ceremony! After they kissed and became Mr. & Mrs., they and their guests headed over to their cocktail hour and were greeted with tons of food and a lot of delicious cocktails. Guests found their table assignments with fortune cookies that acted one of their favors. One of the details we loved about this wedding was their vellum votive place cards. Not only were they another favor for guests, but they added extra decor to the tables and complemented the lantern centerpieces. The newlyweds shared a choreographed first dance to "Laendler" from The Sound of Music and their guests (and us!) really enjoyed it! Guests also enjoyed a photo station that had fantastic props like Mickey & Minnie Mouse hands since Karen loves all things Disney! This was a huge dancing group and they packed the dance floor. On their way out, guests were treated to Funfetti Cake in jar, baked by the bride.
Congratulations Karen and Joe!
