Shannon and Michael were married last May on Memorial Day weekend at the White Clay Creek Country Club. Their unplugged ceremony was held on the lower level deck. We hung pink and teal paper lanterns from the chairs to line the aisle way and the couple rented our "Choose a Seat, Not a Side" sign. During their ceremony, they performed a sand ceremony, which is a great way to add a personal touch to any ceremony! While guests enjoyed a delicious cocktail hour, the newlyweds and their bridal party went around the golf course to take pictures. Guests not only were treated to yummy food and drinks but they were also able to play ring toss and cornhole! Instead of a traditional guestbook, they asked everyone to sign the cornhole boards. Table assignments were found in small pots with flower seeds and shovels which doubled as favors for guests. The reception space was up lit in a warm amber and the tables were topped with pink flowers to match the color scheme! The cake also matched the color scheme perfectly and had a modern design. One of the most touching and memorable parts of their reception was when they played slideshows of Shannon's father and Michael's mother. It was a perfect way to remember their parents and everyone really loved watching the slideshows. As the sun was setting, the couple stole some time for themselves to take sunset photos and you could see the love between them and how happy they were! Then they came back in and joined their guests in a fun night of dancing and celebration!
Congratulations Shannon and Michael!
