Teaser Tuesday

When I first met Meg and Mike, they only had a venue and a color scheme and needed someone to help them pull everything else together- I'm so happy they chose me, because planning this wedding was a TON of fun! With Congress Hall in Cape May as our setting, we decided to pull in a subtle hint of "beachy-ness" by using nautical navy and white stripe as our starting point. Then, we enlisted the help of Manic Botanic to create lush arrangements that brought in vibrant splashes of coral, orange, yellow, and hot pink. Synergetic Sound and Lighting provided centerpiece pinspotting and blue uplighting to make the reception room pop! We created stripey stationery and put together a yummy candy bar for their guests. Guests partied all night to the sounds of Karma Strings and CTO 5th Avenue while the amazingly talented Joy Moody Photography and Blossom Productions captured all the fun! The girls stayed beautiful with makeup by Cheekadee and hair by Karen Capcino- even well after the post-party in the super cool Boiler Room. The onsite team was top-notch and this wedding was absolutely flawless! So honored to have been a part of it! -Erin
It was a hot day in the city but that didn't stop Margaret and Stephen's wedding on Saturday from being any less awesome! While they were taking pictures with their bridal party around the city, we were hard at work setting up their ceremony in the Atrium of the Mellon Center. Carl Alan Floral Design did an incredible job with draping and uplighting for the ceremony and the altar arrangements they created were some of the freshest flowers I've ever seen! The couple wrote the entire ceremony themselves and added a ring warming ceremony within it. Meanwhile on the 52nd floor with some incredible views of the city, we were getting the reception space ready at the Pyramid Club. They chose to have a laid back reception with stations and no assigned seating. When I say that no one was sitting, I mean it- this crowd packed the dance floor from the first all the way to the last song! Brett from Martelli Photography was on hand to capture all of the fun that the guests were having! It was a picture perfect day. -Lisa
On Saturday, Stephanie and Tom got married on a beautifully sunny day! In the morning, the girls headed to Salon Pasca to get their hair and makeup done and then headed back to the Doubletree Hotel to finish getting ready. Then it was off to Rockford Park where Tom and his groomsmen met us for the reveal. Sara from Langdon Photography captured their first look at the tower in the park with the landscape acting as a perfect photo scene. Then it was off in a limo by City Wide Limo to the ceremony at Westminster Presbyterian Church where Tom Stout officiated, followed by the cocktail hour and reception at Blue Ball Barn. Action Special Events and Rentals converted the outdoor patio of the barn into a covered space to keep guests out of the sun with a tent, while Belak Flowers provided bright wildfloweres for each of the tables. Bachetti Brothers served the food for the night and Cakes by Kim made a two-tiered ombre decorated gluten free cake for the bride and additional sheet cakes for the rest of the guests. Paul from Silver Sound Entertainment had the guests entertained on the dance floor where "City Can't Hold Us" was the hit of the night! -Caitlin
