Lindsay and Eric both started their day at the Ship Watch Inn in Maryland. Lindsay and her ladies started the day with hair and makeup by the always fantastic Gloss Salon, while Eric and the guys relaxed in their suite with a catered lunch. This super creative couple added some phenomenal details to their wedding! We loved their ceremony space to begin with and we loved it even more after we set up a ribbon backdrop behind the doors where the couple were married, to hide any cars on the street. It was a perfect pop of color in the historical building! Before Lindsay walked down the aisle, she had the couple's dog, Sophie, act as flower girl- always a cute idea and guests love it! They did a sand ceremony within their ceremony and we used the vase as decoration later at the reception. Over at the reception we were busy at work setting up the details that made this wedding unique. Instead of traditional floral centerpieces, Lindsay made paper flower poms in orange and blue for each table. The couple also made all their own stationery including the menus, table numbers, and photo share cards. When it was time for the couple to make their entrance, they arrived to the ballroom via boat and then came inside for their first dance. Guests enjoyed their dinner and then headed to the dance floor for some dancing. Even a crazy electrical storm that happened during the reception couldn't stop this party! They left the reception with a sparkler sendoff and then jumped back on the boat!
Congratulations Lindsay and Eric!
