Katie started her day getting ready with her bridesmaids at her parent's home before getting dressed and heading over to Longwood Gardens for her first look with Jake. The couple took advantage of the amazing grounds at Longwood Gardens and then headed to the church to make things official! They were married in a traditional Catholic ceremony. The color scheme for their wedding was orange and aubergine with touches of damask and the couples stationery, from the ceremony programs to the menu to the table numbers and escort cards, followed the scheme perfectly! Tables were topped with eggplant colored linens and orange damask runners which made the reception space pop with color. Archmere is another venue was love to work at and it was a pleasure to work with Jenni from J. Scott Catering- guests loved the menu! To personalize their reception, the couple chose to have a cooking theme. Each of the guests' tables were named for spices and their cardbox was a dutch oven. The favors for guests were spiced flavored lollipops- every detail matched their theme! While guests were enjoying dinner, we lined the walkway outside with mason jar luminaries and once the sun set, it looked amazing! When it came time to party, Philly Funk Authority brought it and kept guests on their feet until the very last song. The newlyweds exited the reception down the mason jar lit path and through a sparkler sendoff! What a great night!
Congratulations Katie and Jake!
