Laurie and Bob's Wedding

Laurie and Bob planned to hold their wedding at their home in West Chester and chose us to help them partial plan their spectacular backyard nuptials! We helped them turn their backyard from a field into a dream ceremony and reception space. Laurie and her ladies started their day with hair and makeup at the house while Bob and the guys got ready at the best man's house. The bridesmaids wore beautiful long gray gowns in differing styles and the groomsmen wore classic black tuxes. For a pop of color, purple bouquets were chosen for the ladies. Laurie's gown was stunning and it fit her like a glove and showed off her killer body! When they met for their reveal meeting, Bob waited patiently in the yard as his bride came down to meet him- they were so happy to see each other! They took photos together and then with their bridal party while were adding the finishing touches to the ceremony and reception space. The ceremony was held under a tent and was set up very simply. Dark wood chivaris were set up for guests to sit in and a white aisle runner was laid down and vases filled with hydrangea hung off of the aisleway chairs. Laurie was escorted down the aisle by her two sons and her daughter served as her Maid of Honor! Laurie's nephew officiated the ceremony, adding in a personal touch! Glitterfetti was thrown at the couple as they walked up the aisle was husband and wife for the first time. A delicious cocktail hour was set up in the space between the two tents and was lit perfectly with G40 string lights! Erin and Jason, from Synergetic, created the unique ceiling treatment for the reception tent and as the sun set, the lighting in the tent took over and wowed everyone! A few special touches were added to the reception, a screen with a slideshow of pictures was placed behind the bar and a fun faux chalkboard dinner menu was set in the front of the bar. Erin lent her tea set to the little girl's table adding a touch of whimsy to that table! The fabulous chandelier that was hung in the center of the tent belonged to the bride. Guests were treated to truffles as their favors and were able to grab a bag of candy from the candy buffet table! If you'd like to see a timelapse of the tent being set up, you can watch the video at the end of the post!

Congratulations Laurie and Bob!
