Proud to Plan: Dara and Sal's Wedding

At the end of last month, Style Me Pretty featured Dara and Sal's wedding from last June. Dara and Sal came to us late in the game with tons of drama. Their venue had closed, their planning was stalled, and they needed help! We're so thrilled they contacted Proud to Plan, because their wedding was simply amazing. Every shot belongs in a magazine (and it is- you can see it in The Knot's Spring/Summer issue!) thanks to awesomely talented team from Alison Conklin Photography. Dara and her ladies started the big day at Hotel Monaco complete with hair and makeup before getting dressed. The bridesmaids wore one of two styles: a peach colored dress or a gray dress which complemented each other perfectly. Dara chose two dresses, the first being a beautiful Monique Lhuillier gown and then halfway through the reception changed into a unique Jenny Packham gown. Both were perfect choices for this fashionable bride! The couple met in a garden close to the hotel and then went around the city for pictures with their bridal party before heading to the ceremony. When guests arrived they were greeted with a beverage display before the ceremony started. Our favorite part of their ceremony was after they were pronounced husband and wife! Guests tossed glitter at the newlyweds as they exited- such a fun touch and made for some great photos! Everyone headed to the reception where they enjoyed cocktail hour. Dara and Sal took a peek at the reception room before guests headed in and their reaction was nothing less than amazing! Large farm tables were topped with lots of candles that we styled around the gorgeous centerpieces created by their florist. The details for their reception were incredible! Lots of glitter and modern vintage touches were carried throughout the day and Alison Conklin captured every single last detail beautifully.
