Leslie and Aaron were married in August in Delaware in a touching and personal ceremony in front of their closest friends and family. We were so excited to be asked to be a part of this wedding since Erin's friend and jeweler, Christine, of A Gem For You, is the bride's sister! We created their invitations to match their purple and green color scheme and we followed the theme throughout all of their day of stationery. Leslie's family set up paper lanterns in the trees around the ceremony location and it really added a special touch to the lush box garden. We placed a hosta leaf on each seat for guests to use as fans. On top of the leaves, we placed stones that were used in the wishing stone ceremony. The couple's adorable daughter acted as flower girl and fell asleep right before the ceremony so her dad carried her in- it was a cute little moment! Leslie walked down the aisle in a beautiful bridal gown from Anastasia's Bridal in Delaware. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a delicious cocktail hour. Escort cards were placed in wine corks to match the wine theme of the reception. All of the tables were named after the couple's favorite wines and they even used old bottles of each wine as table numbers! Leslie was very hands on when it came to designing the decor and details of her wedding. Each table was topped with 6 ribbons that were laid next to, and on top of each other to make a design that she had seen done by Martha Stewart. The centerpieces were a mix of urns filled with manzanita branches with lush purple and green clusters of flowers and low arrangements that featured lots of green, white, and purple flowers. The fields around the tent were decorated with mason jars filled with candles and as the sun set, it looked like a dream! A perfect day from start to finish!
Congratulations Leslie and Aaron!
