Good morning, everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Today, we are talking about something sent to us by a future bride, and we've actually had a few brides this summer use them. They are heel stoppers! One of those things that make us all go "I wish I would've thought of this!". Basically, they are flexible pieces of plastic that go on the tip of heel to prevent your heels from sinking in the grass. I've been to a few weddings (and worked a few) where it has poured days before the event, leaving the grass so muddy. Then your heels get mud, dirt, pieces of grass all over the heel, ruining it. Not anymore! I will be investing in these! When googling them, they sell them in all different colors and are very inexpensive. Here's one website I found.
Rehearsal Thursday
A few Thursdays a month we'll be blogging about everything that has to do with your wedding rehearsal, what to wear, a cool place to hold the rehearsal dinner and tips on how to make the rehearsal run smoothly. This week I found these super cute dresses that I think would be perfect for a rehearsal.
The dress is from Anthropologie, another one of my favorite stores, and looks like a skirt and shirt. I think that this dress is perfect for a rehearsal dinner held in the city and you could definitely wear this again! You could even dress it up with a colorful necklace to make it more fun! You can buy this dress here.
This second dress is from Banana Republic and I think is a little more formal. They have it dressed up with a belt which is really fun. This can definitely be worn again. You can buy this dress here.
Happy Thursday! The weekend is almost here :)

Must Have Monday
I love JCrew. Its almost an unhealthy obsession. They make beautiful jewelry and I own a few pieces and they are my absolute favorites. So today, for Must Have Monday, I thought I'd show you two necklaces that would be amazing as accessories for your wedding dresss. Even for your bridal shower or rehearsal dinner.
The first is this all crystal necklace. Its simple but stunning. The crystals are all different sizes so its different than most crystal necklaces I've seen. It also comes in another color, called rust. You can buy the necklace right here.
This necklace is all pearls and could be used for the bride or even your bridesmaids! Pearls always look classic but this is a more modern twist. If you are more traditional, you could always just wear this for the reception! An inexpensive way to change up your look for your reception. This also comes in two colors. You can buy this piece right here.
Happy Monday, everyone!
Jen and Paul's Wedding
Jen and Paul's wedding was in July and it started off as a rainy one. Luckily, the sun came out just in time for their beautiful outdoor ceremony at Brantwyn Estate! It turned out to be an amazing day! Meghan Cahill was there to do the girls hair and Kelly from Face the Occasion was there to do their makeup. Everyone looked great! We did their paper products, that were navy blue and pale pink and the florals, done by Flowers by Yukie, matched perfectly! Jen's bouquet was so pretty! Jennifer Childress Photography was there to get all of the big moments on camera and provided us with the pictures below. As always, a fabulous job by Jenn! Dave from Synergetic Sounds kept the guests dancing all night long. You can see what a great time the guests had in this video clip we blogged last week given to us by the couple's videographer, Blossom Productions. It as a great wedding and you can tell in the photos and video!
Congratulations Jen and Paul!
Monica and Dennis's Wedding
Monica and Dennis held their ceremony at the Highlands Mansion last November. Natalie of Soulmates Ceremonies officiated their beautiful outdoor ceremony. The color scheme for their wedding was blue and orange with earthy touches. Carl Alan made the beautiful florals, and the orange flowers really popped for a fall wedding. After their ceremony, everyone headed over to their reception, which was held at Knowlton Mansion. The centerpieces were 3 candles with stones and flowers place around them. They looked really great with the lighting that was provided by Synergetic Sounds. The candles, along with the amber uplighting, gave the mansion a warm feel. Matt from Synergetic was also their DJ for the evening, and got all of the guests out of their seats! Martin's Video was on hand to get all of the great moments of the day on film. Doug, from Candid Moments Photography, did an amazing job with their photos! He gave us so many to choose from, it was hard to narrow them down! Guest ended the evening by making "Taste of Philly" bags of that they got to fill with Philadelphia snacks.
Congratulations Monica and Dennis!
