Carley and Adam's Wedding

Carley and Adam's wedding was at Pen Ryn Mansion this June. This wedding is proof that if you have great professionals working your wedding, anything, and we mean ANYTHING, that goes wrong, won't stop your day from being fabulous! The day started with Emily from Cheekadee doing everyone's makeup and as usual, everyone looked great! Jennifer Childress was their photographer and was there taking pictures when it happened. While taking some pictures from a chair, as Carley finished getting ready, Jenn fell and broke her ankle...and foot! Carley and Adam are both doctors and luckily a lot of family members (including Adam's parents) were doctors or in the medical field! So while Jenn's second shooter, Mike Landis, took over taking pictures, Adam's parents checked out Jenn's foot. Our team took care of trying to find other photographers, setting up the reception as planned and keeping our timeline on schedule. None of this even messed up the timeline! They had more than enough time to take pictures and relax before the ceremony started. Pete Malone from First Floor Films (and Jenn's close friend) was already there filming the day for Carley and Adam. He assisted Jenn in getting around to direct pictures while still being able to capture their day. We can't wait to see some of the video! We had tons of photographers who were willing to give their Sunday off to come and photograph the wedding. Joy Moody came and took pictures before the ceremony and Ryan Estes came and handled the ceremony and reception pictures along side of Mike Landis! Its really refreshing to know that all of these people were willing to help out Jenn and make sure that Carley and Adam had great photos documenting their big day! Flower Sculpture created all of the beautiful florals, Carley's bouquet was absolutely stunning. Before their reception started, we had another incident, a guest had an allergic reaction to something they ate. We made sure that the guest got the medical attention they needed. With all of this going on during their big day, they were really ready to settle into their reception and relax. Jason from Synergetic Sounds, was their DJ and had everyone up on their feet dancing the night away! The couple also used Synergetic Sounds for their gobo on the dancefloor. We did all of their paper products, save the dates, wedding invitations, programs, reserved seat signs, bar menus, menus; basically the works!! They had a really wonderful color combination of blue, pink and green. It was perfect for the beginning of June! Adam's parents surprised the couple after dinner with a beautiful fireworks show! They had Go Festive! photobooth company on hand for their guestbook. It was a huge hit, lots of props to use! The night ended with a sparkler sendoff! We are so happy that Carley and Adam picked such great vendors and that their day went so smoothly, even with the few bumps.
