Jackie and Chris' Wedding

Jackie and Chris hired us for partial planning to help them plan their New Orleans themed wedding last October! We absolutely loved this couple and were so happy to make their wedding day a memorable one. Jackie and her bridesmaids began the big day with hair and makeup at her parent's home in Rehoboth. The bridesmaids wore long green chiffon gowns in whichever style was most comfortable for them. Jackie's lace gown was gorgeous! It had a little big of vintage and preppy feel to it with sleeves and a low V in the back. She wore her hair up in a chic style and finished off her look with a simple veil. Chris saw his bride for the first time as she made her way down the aisle before they exchanged their vows. Their ceremony was a traditional Catholic ceremony and after they were pronounced husband and wife, they went off for photos at the beach with their bridal party! Their reception was chock-full of amazing details! To add to the New Orleans theme, tables were named after streets in the city and centerpieces were mostly green and white with touches of purple. Guests found their seats on handwritten tags attached to white pumpkins. After a delicious cocktail hour and playing a few rounds of cornhole, guests were led out of the tent and over the ballroom by an all brass Second Line procession- a old tradition in New Orleans! It was incredible and all of the guests (and us!) were talking about it all night! The newlyweds displayed their favorite Mad Lib RSVP cards on a board set up near their non-traditional calendar guestbook. Jackie and Chris really wanted all of their guests to be comfortable and have a great time so they kept the formalities to a minimum and even chose to not have a wedding cake and replaced it with a huge spread of desserts! Guests danced the night away to the music played by 39 Mariner and when they weren't out on the dance floor, they were able to enjoy a midnight snack of pizza provided by Grotto's! Their perfect wedding day ended with a wonderful sparkler sendoff.

Congratulations Jackie and Chris!
