Dawn & Pete's Wedding

Upon meeting Dawn and Pete, I knew we'd have great chemistry! They are a fun, laid back couple that loves the little details as much as I do! I was psyched to work their wedding and be a part of such a perfect day!

If the groom looks familiar, you may recognize him because he's Pete, the owner of First Floor Films...one of my favorite local vendors! His videography and photography is awesome!!! I was referred to this couple by their friends, Jessica and Andrew, whose wedding I coordinated in November.

Pete and Dawn have been best friends for.ev.er. Nearly 20 years! They were in homeroom together in high school and finally decided they were "meant to be" a few years ago..... The rest, as they say, is history!
I checked on the couple before they had their big "reveal" meeting at the Sheraton Society Hill...everyone was very serene and excited for the big day to begin!

Then, then everyone embarked on a trolley ride for an urban photo shoot around Philiadelphia's 4th of July celebration!
The ceremony and reception were held at the gorgeous Bartram's Gardens. We lucked out with great weather even though the forecast was calling for scattered showers!
We did her programs, menus, and assorted other paper goods to match her preppy lime and pink color palette. Everything matched the centerpieces by Monday Morning Flowers- the reception looked fresh, vibrant and very fun!

The cake, by the always phenomenal Cakes By Suzy, tasted as awesome as it looked!

The catering, by Shackamaxon, was positively delicious!

Pete and Dawn's wedding was so wonderful...everyone partied like rockstars 'til the bitter end. A fantastic time was had by all thanks to DJ Mike Scott from Superior Sound, he was awesome!

A huge thanks to Siobhan from Dollface Studio.... as seen in these photos above, her work is stunning and she's a total joy to work alongside. We had a really great time together and I'm so fortunate to be working with her a bunch this year!

Another giant plus...I got to meet the amazing Jennifer Childress, who was attending the wedding as a guest, but still managed to take some gorgeous photos, too. Check them out on her blog here. She was really fun- I can tell we'll work together perfectly :P

Anywho...my heartfelt congratulations go out to Dawn and Pete and I hope they are enjoying a much deserved break on their Costa Rican honeymoon right now!!

Hey Erin!
I just saw this post.
We're back from Costa Rica.
The honeymoon was incredible.
We surfed, white water rafted, snorkeled, zip lined, chilaxed by the pool etc. etc.

ANYWAY...you were ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! And without a doubt, hiring you was THE BEST DECISION we made regarding our wedding.

Dawn and I must have said it a hundred times..."We could never have done this without Erin"!

Seriously, you rocked. You kept everything running. You were THE go to person. Our wedding was perfect be cause of YOU!

And the paper products....Dawn being a self admitted stationary nerd was absolutely blown away by the programs, menus, table numbers, and even the flickr cards. Our family and friends still haven't stopped commenting on how nice the reception looked. Even my groomsen were impressed!

We just couldn't be happier with your services, Erin. Really. Any brides who are thinking of hiring a wedding planner/coordinator....DO IT! And Hire Erin. Again, Erin...you were the best decision that we made in planning our wedding. Thank you so much for everything.

Lots of love.
