Jennifer and Chase were married at the stunning Congress Hall in Cape May, NJ. The weather was iffy all day, but we still managed to hold the ceremony outside on the veranda. The ballroom decor was a mix of firey oranges and yellows and touches of damask. The bride looked AMAZING and her groom was the life of the party! The guests celebrated to the sounds of the Masquerade Band and the dancefloor was packed all night! Many thanks to the fabulous Cindy Guessford and her assistant Val for these fantastic pics. She was such a blast to work with and the photos turned out awesome!!!
Jennifer & Chase's Wedding
Sophia's Debut
I've done tons of stuff for Angel...her wedding paper goods, her bridal shower, her baby shower and now her daughter's "debut" party. When she contacted me about handling Sophia's "Mad Hatter" theme party, I was thrilled! Ideas just started pouring from my brain and I was definitely inspired to "get my craft on" :)
We made a "throne" for the guest of honor, who was appropriately dressed like Alice!
Little teacups and teapots were everywhere..... we tried to make it as "mad" as possible
The event was held at the enchanting Valley Green Inn in Fairmount Park....other than Hurricane Hannah dropping buckets of rain and bringing sweltering humidity, it was PERFECT!
We set up a photo guest book area, complete with hookah, mad hatter hat and queen of hearts crown...so fun! The paper goods were in vibrant pinks and greens with touches of toile and Disney fonts!
The tables were named for characters from the story
oh, humidity....how i hate you.
Mimosas and Champagne Punch were served in flutes with "Drink Me" tags....to shrink the guests down to size...
The hosts of the party, Sophia's Grandparents, Charlie and Lucy! Guests were given favor bags filled with a teapot timer, packets of tea, honey, an a cookie from the Flour Pot in the shape of a teapot.
And a little box of personalized candies
Michelle and Brian's Wedding Paper Goods
We made Michelle and Brian's wedding invitations and followed suit with their color scheme for the rest of their wedding paper items. Programs, placecards, signage and table tents made for an elegant, cohesive look.
Irene & Paul's Invitations
Irene and Paul chose a amethyst pocketfolder with a shimmery lilac backing layer and white bellyband closure.
