Leigh and Ian's Wedding

Leigh and Ian were married on a brisk day in early April of this year and it was a super special one for us! I've known Leigh for a while now as she is one of my sister's closest friends and Leigh is also best friends with our very own coordinator, Amanda, who was a bridesmaid. The lovely ladies started their day with hair and makeup at the hotel before heading over to the country club to get dressed. The bridesmaids wore gray dresses in their style of choice and Leigh's sister and Maid of Honor, wore a long dress to stand out a bit. Their yellow and white bouquets were a perfect fit for the yellow and gray color scheme. Leigh wore a beautiful strapless gown with a lace bolero and belt and finished off her bridal look with a birdcage veil- she looked stunning! Leigh and Ian had an intimate first look in the garden of the country club and then their bridal party joined in for pictures. Their ceremony was filled with a lot of personal touches, tears, and laughter. After breaking the glass and exiting the ceremony to a lot of clapping and cheering, the couple joined their guests for a delicious cocktail hour while we got to work on flipping the ballroom over for the reception. Tables were topped with low arrangements that featured the bridesmaids bouquets and tall arrangements that had white hydrangea, green leaves, and curly willow that was spray painted gray! The cake was a ruffled ombre yellow to dark gray design topped with Leigh's mother's cake topper. When guests weren't dancing to the great tunes from the band, they were having a blast in the photobooth. It was a wonderful day for a wonderful couple!

Teaser Tuesday

The rain gods were on our side on Saturday, as sprinkles seemed to be part just in time for Arianne and Rick's wedding at the beautiful Holly Hedge Estate in New Hope, PA. In the morning, Daneene Jensen & Associates worked their magic on the ladies while they got ready at 1740 House, a sister property of Holly Hedge. Then it was off to the outdoor ceremony where Judge Linda Carpenter officiated. The bride walked down the aisle to her cousin playing Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years" on the guitar and the couple asked a bridesmaid and groomsman share their love story to guests. The reception room was decorated with centerpieces by Brittany from Petals Lane and Synergetic Sound & Lighting lined the dance floor with string lights. After dinner, guests danced along with Onyx from Philly Event Group and took breaks from the dance floor to get photos in a Wilmington Photo Booth. Then it was off to dessert as guests satisfied their sweet tooth by eating "Arianne's Favorite Things" at the homemade cookie bar (with eight different types of cookies) and later at the ice cream bar (with toppings galore). The men on the other hand enjoyed "Rick's Favorite Things" at the scotch and cigar bar. Rich and Noah from Tweed Weddings caught all the lovely moments on film while Becka from Pill Photography captured these gorgeous photos. Teaser Tuesday

It may have been quite the windy day but nothing was going to take the smiles off of Leigh and Ian's faces on their wedding day! The happy couple were married at Meadowlands Country Club in the ballroom during a traditional Jewish ceremony, as their family and closest friends looked on. Before they were married the couple shared in a first look in the garden, I've never seen a bride so excited to see her almost husband- Leigh practically ran to him! After they broke the glass and shared their first kiss as husband and wife, the couple joined their guests at cocktail hour. Everyone was raving about the delicious hors d'oeuvres and cocktails that the couple chose. The tables were topped with arrangements created by Wegman's and featured mostly with flowers with subtle pops of yellow to match the couple's color scheme. The Bachelor Boys Band had everyone up on their feet dancing and after the couple cut their cake, they surprised their guests by grabbing the mic and performing a fun parody they created! Adachi Photography was on hand to capture all of the great moments and we cannot wait to see the rest of the photos! It was a great day from start to finish and we're super happy that Leigh and Ian had a fantastic day! -Lisa

Sarina and Matt really lucked out with the weather on Saturday! It was one of the first beautiful spring days in Philly and it also happened to be their wedding day! While waiting for the reveal meeting in Washington Square Park, Matt found himself in the middle of a big pillow fight in the park (we can't wait to see the photos captured of that)! Sarina arrived and Nina Lily Photography captured their first look together. Back at the Kimmel Center, upstairs in the Hamilton Rooftop Garden, Petals Lane began setting up the Chuppah and decorating the space with an array of white flowers. When it was time, Rittenhouse String Quartet played as the bridal party and Sarina and her father walked down the aisle for their Jewish ceremony. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour and dinner created by Garces Group. Tribeca from CTO Artists got all of the guests to fill the dance floor throughout the night. They only had one interruption though, when Matt's college rugby team sang "Can't Help Falling In Love" by Elvis Presley. Teaser Tuesday

Lana and Nick were married in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony at Glen Foerd Mansion this past Sunday. The bridal party was stunning with the ladies in beautiful coral dresses and the guys in Vera Wang suits. The couple shared a romantic first dance, which was sung by one of the bridesmaids. Everyone was excited to head into the dining room for dinner, especially since their escort cards were cake pops! After dinner, the party danced the night away to the tunes spun by Mike from Synergetic Sounds, in the conservatory and there was another surprise song sung by the bride's niece. You could feel the love in the room as these two families came together to celebrate. 

Jenny and Steve's Wedding

Jenny and Steve were married on a gorgeous day in May at St. Peter's Pikeland United Church of Christ in Chester Springs, PA. Jenny and her bridesmaids started the day at her parents home. They had their hair and makeup done by Calista Brides and they made everyone look absolutely fantastic! After their ceremony, everyone headed over to Aronimink Golf Club for the reception. TableArt created the bouquets and beautiful centerpieces that were filled with lots of green and white hydrangea. The lighting in the ballroom was provided by Synergetic Sound and Lighting and it really made an impact when you walked in! Each table was numbered after a special house number that was significant to the couple; their childhood homes, where they lived when they met & their current house number- it was a great personal touch! Sid Miller Band got the party started after dinner and kept the guests on their feet, dancing the night away and Blossom Productions was on hand to capture all the fun. Instead of a traditional wedding cake, guests were able to enjoy the couple's favorite pies from Linvilla Orchards. The couple was sent off at the end of the night with a wonderful sparkler sendoff.
