A perfect fall day for Colette and Angelo's wedding in Philadelphia this past Saturday. Colette and her maids started the day at her parents home with hair and makeup by Your Day Your Way before everyone slipped into their dresses. They took their family photos at the church after the ceremony before heading out to their family's first established South Philadelphia Primo's store and then to City Hall for more bridal party photos. They then headed to Tendenza and enjoyed a delicious menu for cocktail hour and their signature cocktail that they named "Sunset in Mexico" created by Cescaphe Event Group. Beautiful Blooms lit up the ballroom with lilac sachet lighting, projected a custom monogram on the dance floor, while also providing the beautiful ivory rose bouquets and white calla lily centerpieces. Cate and Keith were married on Sunday with their closest friends and family in attendance, and even though it was a small guest list, it was a HUGE event and one of the most fun and beautiful that we've ever been a part of! Their photographer, Jennifer Childress, recommended our services to the couple when they were considering hosting a wedding in a barn on their property. The minute I got onsite and saw the space and met the couple, I knew it was a perfect match! Cate's a big Pinterest fan and wanted the wedding day to show off all the fun details she had been compiling on her wedding boards. We went with a rustic theme, complete with lots of burlap, lace, candlelight, vintage touches, great food, and organic floral designs. Our friends from Starr Events put together a delicious menu consisting of an amazing raw bar, seasonal salad, yummy entrees, and a dessert display of pies, cakes, and even a Coldstone Creamery sundae bar! Then, the AMAZING guys from Synergetic Sound and Lighting draped the barn in fabric and string  lights to create an unbelievable look! Our go-to gang for all vintage accessories, Maggpie Vintage Rentals, helped us select furniture and a bar for our vintage lounge, which looked beyond perfect in the space. Party Rental's farm and picnic tables were the perfect foundation for gorgeous floral design by Miss Fancy Plants, and we brought in a ton of rental items to fill in the centerpieces and decor. An intimate lakeside ceremony was conducted by Judge John Murray, and then following dinner, we were treated to a spectacular fireworks display, courtesy of the couple! Once the fireworks ended, the whole party moved into their tavern to cheer on the Eagles on their shut-out against the NY Giants! It was an unforgettable event with fantastic vendors and an awesome couple and I'm so honored we were a part of it. Congrats Cate and Keith! -Erin

Meredith and Dave's Wedding

Meredith and Dave's wedding this past January was our first of 2014 and what a gorgeous day they had! Prep for the day began in the morning at Hotel Monaco where Meredith and her bridesmaids were pampered and spent the morning relaxing. While Dave spent the morning getting ready at the home with his groomsmen. Meredith asked her bridesmaids to choose a black dress in their own choice of style which looked great with their wildflower bouquets. The bride's gown was a stunning 3/4 length sleeve lace gown that Meredith finished off with a simple veil and cute red shoes- she looked incredible! The couple chose to have a first look and it was so romantic and they were so happy to see each other. After a few photos it was time to make things official! The couple's personal and touching ceremony was officiated by a Reverend that had also married several of the bride's family members, including the bride's parents! After recessing down the aisle and getting ready to head over to cocktail hour, Dave asked Meredith to share in some alone time and the couple walked over to the reception by themselves. Over at The Down Town Club, tables were topped with different groups of flowers that featured curly willow, branches, and green and dark pink flowers. The table numbers were a floral design placed in gold frames to match the gold vessels that contained the centerpieces. Guests favors were chocolate truffles and were placed at each place setting to add to the decor of the room. As guests entered the ballroom, you could really start to feel the love in the room and see how happy all of the guests were for the newlyweds! Everyone packed onto the dance floor and danced the night away and right after the bouquet toss, the couple left the party to head back to the hotel on their own.
