Splurge vs. Steal {Shoes}

Choosing your wedding day shoes can be a difficult task. You want to make sure you are comfortable on your wedding day but you also want to make sure they look cute too! Here are a few ideas in multiple price ranges to make your wedding day shoes special.

Accessories: There is no reason you have to wear plain white shoes on your wedding day. Look for fun accessories and accents to make your shoes stand out like feathers and bows. Here are a few to check out!

Ballet Flats: Even though you may have an awesome pair of wedding shoes, it's a great idea to change into a pair of ballet flats for the reception. There are so many options when choosing ballet flats. There are a ton of cute glittery pairs or look for a pair with fun jewels or beads. This is also a great idea for your bridesmaids. It guarantees that you and your girls can dance the night away!

Wedding Day Jewelry

Eclectic accessories for bridesmaids! Keep the style consistent, but let your bridesmaids pick their pieces to express their personality. This mix and match look will give your wedding day photos a unique and individual feel. The styles below match, but they’re not matchy-matchy.
My favorite looks are from JCrew:

Something Blue- A modern spin on a classic concept! Take a hint from Kate Middleton’s stunning sapphire engagement ring and add a pop of your favorite shade of blue to your wedding look to create a memorable and stunning impression. You can go as simple as a delicate blue pearl bracelet, or as bold as these fabulous sapphire blue pumps.
Nordstrom and Overstock have amazing selections:

Something Old- Think old-Hollywood starlet! Vintage glam is so hot right now and will make your wedding look timeless and classically beautiful. Try ornate crystal or feather hair pins, chandelier earrings or a chunky collar necklace.
Etsy has adorable choices:

Don’t over-accessorize! If your wedding dress has a lot of lace or embroidery, choose light pieces to compliment it. If you have your heart set on a chunky necklace, skip the chunky bangles and statement earrings. Stick to the “one-statement-at-a-time” rule.
Again, JCrew always has great pieces:

Must Have Monday

Must Have Monday is here again and this week it is the shoe edition! I was inspired by my bride on Saturday who had the most fabulous Jimmy Choo's. I spent a good amount of time searching and found some of my top picks. Why don't I show you the dream shoes first?
I KNOW, right?? Well, we all don't have the budget for these but that's why they're the dream shoe! But they are pretty and if you can get them, please do! Then send them to me so I can prance around in my house. So pretty! Find these here.
I also love these shoes I found on BHLDN. Simple but oh so pretty and you could definitely wear them again. Find these beauties here.
These are the shoes our bride Kate wore on Saturday. They were even more sparkly in person! Find these stunners here.
I love the fabric flower on the back of these. I think these shoes could be wore again as well. Find them here.
I gravitate to anything with fabric flowers, so these were an obvious choice. They're really simple but make such a statement. Find them here.
And last but not least, another Badgley Mischka shoe. The brooch on this shoe is simply amazing! Find these here.

I hope you enjoyed my shoe picks for this week's Must Have Monday! Have you chosen your shoes yet? Show us! We love all things shoes!!
