Teaser Tuesday

You can't find a couple more in love than Andrew and Anna and their wedding on Saturday was as beautiful as they are inside and out. I've known Anna since we first met at the University of Delaware, so it was such a joy to be a part of her wedding day and make all of her hard work become a reality. Jill Kozar of Up Your Do and Beke Beau dolled the girls up in the morning before Anna got into her gown and Andrew saw her for the first time on the Union League front steps. Though the original plan was to go around the city for photos, the decision to stay inside proved to be the better choice in the end as Anna, Andrew, and their bridal party got to explore the Union League and get photos in fun locations like the basement wine cellar. When it was time for the ceremony, Anna's cousin JP delivered a personal ceremony complete with Andrew reading to Anna in French. Then it was time to head upstairs for cocktail hour and the reception. The ballroom was decorated with large white centerpieces by Robertson's Flowers, perfect for a winter wedding, and vintage pieces including a marquee from Maggpie Vintage Rentals. CTO's Tribeca had the guests dancing all night long and Anna even surprised Andrew by having the band learn his favorite Dropkick Murphys' song. Guests took a break from dancing to take a photo in the Oh Snap Photobooth by Lindsay Docherty Photography who was there to capture the whole day as it unfolded. Thanks to Lindsay for this great sneak peek shot of Anna, Andrew, and their dogs, Jackson, and Seamus. -Caitlin

Friday was a gorgeous day with perfect autumn weather for Colleen and Bill's wedding! They started their day at the Union League with the ladies being pampered with hair by Amanda D'Andrea Hair and makeup from Duette Hair and Makeup Design. The couple was married in the beautiful St. Rita's of Cascia Church. The ceremony was conducted by Colleen's family's close friend, Father John Stack, which made for a lot of personal touches. They headed out for pictures after being pronounced husband and wife, and then headed back to the Union League to join their guests for cocktail hour. Beautiful Blooms did an incredible job decorating the ballroom with tall arrangements filled with faux cherry blossoms and low arrangements featuring a lot of candlelight. Chico's Vibe got the party started and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long while Life Images Videography captured all of the fun! The biggest hit of the night was when the groom and his band, Banana Monkeys, took the stage for a 2 song set- everyone was singing right along with them! We can't wait to see the images from Shawn May Photography and share them with you all. Congratulations Colleen and Bill! We wish you years of health and happiness! -Lisa
The sun was shining for Beth and Jon's wedding day on Saturday! Beth and her girls started their day by getting ready at the Hyatt Regency Penn's Landing with the help of Jen from the Jason Matthew Salon and one of her bridesmaids, Danielle. Their traditional ceremony took place at St. Peter the Apostle, complete with a bagpiper performing "Amazing Grace" right before Beth walked down the aisle. After the ceremony, the happy couple headed over to the Horticulture Center to take advantage of their beautiful grounds for pictures. The space was transformed with beautiful centerpieces from Beautiful Blooms and lighting from Synergetic Sound and Lighting. Guests enjoyed amazing food courtesy of Stephen STARR Events and a delicious cake from Stock's Bakery. The dance floor was packed all night thanks to Dan from No Macarena. Their fantastic photographer, Gary, from Gary Nevitt Photography was on hand to capture all of the special moments and provided a photobooth, which was a ton of fun! Here a few teasers from Gary! Congratulations Beth and Jon! -Jen

Jenn and Gonzo's Wedding

Jenn and her bridesmaids started the big day with hair and makeup at AME Salon and Spa before heading back to the hotel to get dressed. Jenn's timeless ballgown set the classic theme for this wedding in place! Her bridesmaids wore beautiful floor length gray gowns. The couple chose to keep it traditional and not see each other before Jenn walked down the candlelit aisle. Brittany from Petals Lane did an incredible job as always with gorgeous decor for this wedding. After the couple said their I Do's and were pronounced husband and wife, they headed out for pictures while we were busy at work transforming the ballroom at the Union League. The guys from Synergetic provided the amber uplighting in the cocktail space and ballroom, along with the dance floor wash, monogram, and pinspotting- the room looked fantastic! The tables were decorated with high and low centerpieces that were full of white flowers that matched the bridal party's bouquets and boutonnieres. They had a Cuban inspired cocktail hour complete with cigar boxes that were used as decorations on the cocktail tables and mojitos as their signature drink! Guests enjoyed a delicious meal and then headed to the dance floor for a super fun night of dancing thanks to Dan from Synergetic. The guests danced late into the night and on their way out, grabbed a bottle of wine as their favor for attending this wonderful wedding!

Congratulations Jenn and Gonzo!

Kyle and Olin's Wedding

We showed you Kyle and Olin's wedding video in July and now we are sharing the beautiful images from their wedding! They held their classic and elegant wedding in June at St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Before walking down the aisle, Kyle and her bridesmaids got ready at Hyatt at the Bellevue, where the ladies from Jillian Grace Salon came to do everyone's hair and makeup. After the ceremony, guests headed over to The Union League of Philadelphia. Synergetic Sound and Lighting up lit the room in amber and projected Kyle and Olin's monogram on the dance floor along with a dance floor wash. Their fun color scheme of navy blue and silver with touches of green, purple and pink, looked perfect in the ballroom! The centerpieces made by Carl Alan Floral Design, matched their color scheme and looked fabulous on top of the navy blue pintuck linens. We created their ceremony programs, menus and other various reception signage- along with their adorable "Do Not Disturb" signs, which guests grabbed on their way out of the reception! Guests were able to enjoy the photo booth provided by Go Festive and when they weren't in line, they were tearing up the dance floor thanks to Jellyroll! Olin even surprised his new bride- and all of their guests- by singing with the band on stage and Tweed Weddings was on hand to capture all the fun! A huge thanks to Philip Gabriel Photography for sending us these stunning images!

Congratulations Kyle and Olin!
