Katie and Bob's Wedding

Katie and Bob were married on Memorial Day weekend in a special ceremony officiated by two of Katie's family's friends. The couple met at Penn State and currently live in NYC together. They started the day in separate suites at the Loews Hotel with their bridal party. The girls were pampered with hair and makeup and when they were finished, they looked great! Katie's bridesmaids wore tea length cornflower blue dresses to match the wedding's color scheme. After they were dressed they helped Katie get into her gorgeous ivory drop waist gown that was covered in intricate beading and had a beautiful train. They kept things traditional and didn't see each other until Katie was headed own the aisle. They exited the church through a fun bubble sendoff before heading out into the city for pictures. They hit up all of the great spots in the city and then headed to cocktail hour. While all of this was going on, we were busy at work, getting all of the special touches in place before guests arrived. The main color scheme for the wedding was blue but since the couple was engaged in Ireland, they pulled in some green accents in their flowers. We created their invitations and their day-of stationery to match the color scheme and to follow their theme which was classic traditional with a modern flair. The mix of high and low centerpieces complemented the modern ballroom perfectly! Instead of a traditional favor for guests, the couple donated to Susan G. Komen Foundation in memory of Katie's mother. After guests enjoyed the absolutely delicious cocktail hour and dinner prepared by Cescaphe, it was time to let loose on the dance floor. Guests were dancing well into the night and when they wanted to take a quick break, you could find them outside smoking cigars or getting some dessert off of the delicious dessert display.

Congratulations Katie and Bob!

KC and Eli's Wedding

KC and Eli were married on a gorgeous day last June, down in Cape May at one of our favorite locations, Congress Hall. Their wedding was one of the most stylish weddings we've ever done with TONS of personalization and lots of great details! The theme for their wedding was nautical and preppy. The ceremony aisle was decorated by their florist, in a cool design with white rose petals. The Huppah was stunning; lots of branches, greens, and fluffy white hydrangeas. They used black and white grosgrain ribbon on all of the bouquets and also tied some around the tops of lanterns that lined the aisle. KC's uncle painted an amazing portrait of the couple in front of Congress Hall and we were able to used that on the backs of the fan programs- such a great detail! After the couple kissed and were pronounced man and wife, guests tossed rose petals from petal cones that were made from sheet music of the songs played during the processional. KC's mom did the art on the huge chalkboard seating chart that was made from old window panes. KC collected all of the vintage milk glass and mason jars during planning, and they were used as decor for the tables. The dancefloor was packed all night long and when guests wanted to take a break from dancing, they were able to enjoy a cigar from the cigar setup! They are always a hit with guests! At the end of the night, the couple walked through a pretty as can be sparkler send off and hopped in their getaway car. Enjoy the photos below and see their highlight film at the very bottom of the post!
