Beth and Tim's Wedding

Beth and Tim's was our last wedding of 2013 and what a great wedding it was! This couple was so loved by their family and friends which made their big day even more memorable. A fun fact about this couple is that Beth is not only a twin but Tim is also a twin- so cool! Our very own Nicole was a bridesmaid in their wedding and we had the honor of coordinating Beth's twin sister's, Laura, wedding in 2012- we knew everyone really well which makes the big day even more fun! Beth and her bridesmaids spent the morning being pampered with hair and makeup before getting dressed. The bridesmaids were able to choose their own dresses in navy blue and Beth's Matron of Honor wore a lighter blue to stand out. Beth's gown was a beautiful lace sleeveless dress and she completed her look by wearing her sister's veil. Such a wonderful and personal touch! Tim first saw his bride as she made her way down the aisle of the church. Their ceremony was a traditional Catholic with a lot of personal touches that made for happy tears from the couple and their guests. After the ceremony, they went out for photos with their bridal party, who were troopers since getting photos taken outside in December isn't the easiest thing to do! Meanwhile we were busy adding the finishing touches to their classic wedding! Pinecones were used as escort cards and set up on a table with framed photos and cute wooden signs. Tables were topped with low floral arrangements in shades of blue and we used our mercury glass votives to surround the centerpieces and add a glow to the tables. Menus were placed at each place setting for guests to take a look at while they were getting settled at their tables. The simple cake was topped with Tim's parent's cake topper to add a personal and vintage touch. After an amazing dinner prepared by Starr Events, guests cut loose on the dance floor and had a blast dancing to the music being spun! A great couple, fantastic wedding, and wonderful night to end our 2013 wedding season!

Congratulations Beth and Tim!

Teaser Tuesday

While we're keeping toasty on this snowy day, I can't help but smile thinking about what a fabulous wedding we coordinated on Saturday, before all this snow came to town! Beth and Tim are a special couple to me, since I met them both at her sister's wedding 18 months ago. Planning with this family is a blast and I knew we were going to have a fun time creating this celebration! Bonus was the stellar lineup of professionals they brought on board! The ceremony was held at St. John the Evangelist and Father Larry conducted the most touching homily- it was quite personal and unique and I think nearly everyone in the church got teary-eyed! Following the ceremony, the bridal party headed to City Hall for photos captured by Inna and Brae of Tyler Boye Photography, and Jon from Martin's Video made sure to get it all on film, too. Once they were done, they arrived to the reception at Arts Ballroom, where Dan and his staff from Starr Events prepared the most amazing meal and made the event spaces look spectacular! Tables were draped in gray with silver chivari chairs and blue accents, flowers by Terry Orsini were shades of blue and white, and were flanked with Proud to Plan's rental mercury glass votive candles. No Macarena DJs got the party started and I don't think the folks ever got off the dance floor! It was a party, straight til the end, and I'm so thrilled we were a part of it! Congrats to Beth and Tim- so glad your day was as fun as you had dreamed! -Erin
