Proud to Plan

The sun was shining in full force last November for Christina and Sean's wedding day! With a color scheme of gold and plum, Christina chose a long amethyst colored gown for the bridesmaids. Their bouquets featured peach, ivory, and green flowers that complemented their dresses. Christina's gown was a stunning classic ball gown with a sheer fabric v-neck- she looked amazing! The groomsmen wore a pocketsquare in the color of the college they attended for a fun, personal touch! The groom saw his bride for the first time as she made her way down the aisle for their traditional Catholic ceremony. Simple thick satin ribbon was tied in bows on the ends of the pews. After the ceremony, the walked out of the church to the sounds of their guests ringing bells! They took their photos at Gibraltar Gardens and the fall foliage was a perfect backdrop. We were busy at work adding the final touches to their reception. They had a very light literary theme for the reception by naming the tables after books and authors and putting their guests seating assignments on bookmarks! They decided that a traditional guestbook wasn't for them and asked their guests to sign vintage books that were placed at their tables. A great idea and wonderful keepsake! Before kicking off dancing, they asked their bridal party and close family members to join them outside for quick sparkler photos. After enjoyed a delicious meal, they got out on the dance floor and danced the night away with all of their guests. Brittany and Zack's fun filled, relaxing wedding was held last November in Delaware at Greenville Country Club. The ladies started their day relaxing at the club with hair and makeup. The bridesmaids wore black strapless hi-low dresses with a statement necklace that Brittany herself chose for each of the girls! Sucha great idea for a bridesmaid gift. Brittany wore a lace appliqued Watters gown and chose a simple necklace and chic high bun to complete her wedding day look. They chose to have a intimate first look with just the two of them and Zack was so excited to see his bride! After stealing a few kisses, they headed off to join their bridal party for photos. They used the sprawling grounds of the country club to take some fun photos and even pulled some furniture from inside to use as props. The fellas didn't wear traditional boutonnieres, and instead wore pocketsquares, while Zack wore a bow tie, to stand out from the rest of the guys. They kept their ceremony decor simple and let the greenery do most of the talking. We lined the aisle with black lanterns and were able to use them as reception decor after the ceremony finished up. The reception tent had a ceiling wash to add a small bit of color and the centerpieces were pinspotted, to make sure they popped in the space! The couple rented a cool black and white dance floor for a different look and it looked perfect in the tent! Tables were topped with black damask linens and we placed our clear glass pedestal stands in the center. We then put the birch candle holders that the bride had collected leading up to the wedding and mixed in baby's breath- it looked awesome! After guests found their seating arrangements on the escort card table, we turned the table in the S'Mores favor display. It was a huge hit with all of the guests and they were able to enjoy the S'Mores at a fun fire pit that was set up. Perfect for a cool November night! Another great detail that had everyone talking, was their wedding cake. They chose to have 5 smaller cakes with all different designs and were set up on wood slabs made of birch. Such a flawless day for this awesome couple!
