Proud to Plan: new jersey wedding

Heidi and Dan married in traditional roman catholic ceremony with all of their closest friends and family in attendance. Heidi and her bridesmaids started their day by getting their hair done at the salon and then heading to the hotel for makeup. Heidi's gown had a classic look and was stunning- it fit her like a glove! Her bridesmaids wore blue gowns to match the wedding's ivory, dark blue, and pink color scheme. Heidi chose her mom to act as her "Mother of Honor" instead of having a maid or matron of honor and you could tell that she and her mom had a great and special bond. You could see the excitement on Dan's face as his gorgeous bride made her way down the aisle. After they were officially a married couple, they recessed down the aisle through a fun ribbon wand sendoff before heading over to the country club for pictures with their bridal party. They used the sprawling grounds to take some beautiful photos! Meanwhile, we were adding the finishing touches to their picture perfect country club reception! They wanted everything to be very elegant and traditional, and they definitely achieved that look! Tables were topped with gold organza overlays and candle centerpieces were placed on top of mirrors with rose petals scattered around. This, along with the lighting provided by the DJ, added a warm, elegant look to the room. Guests found their table assignments on tented cards and were asked to sign a signature frame guestbook. In between eating and dancing, guests enjoyed a photobooth provided by the DJ. The new Mr and Mrs cut into their beautiful cake that was topped with their new last name initial before the last hour of dancing and this group got to cut loose to the tunes spun by DJ Corrado!

Gretchen and Sean's wedding day was a long time coming! The couple has been married since their first daughter was born but they never had a big wedding with an awesome party- which made their big day even more special! Instead of choosing family and friends to be a part of their bridal party, the couple made the decision to have their 3 children- 2 daughters and a son- to stand with them and act as bridal party attendants- a great decision! Gretchen and the girls started their day with hair and makeup at Congress Hall and Sean and their son spent the morning hanging out. The girls wore white dresses to match their mom and their son wore a light colored suit to match his dad. The couple had a private first look with just the two of them. It was romantic and a perfect moment for them to spend some time alone. Joy Moody Photography captured all of the special moments perfectly! After their reveal, the couple and their children took a carriage ride from Congress Hall over to the church. One of the most memorable moments of their day was Sean escorting Gretchen down the aisle while they followed behind their children. The were pronounced husband and wife (again!) and headed back to Congress Hall with their guests for cocktail hour. The ballroom was decorated with silver lanterns in each of the windowsills and the centerpieces were different arrangements featuring silver crackle vases, branches with hanging candles, and candlesticks- lots of candlelight that added a warm touch to the room! The crew from Synergetic up lit the room and provided a monogram for the dance floor which completed the transformation of the ballroom. Some of the fun details at their wedding were the thumbprint tree guestbook and their candy buffet. This wasn't any old candy buffet! They chose candy that represented family members and provided fun props and information cards explaining the candy relation to each family member- to say it was a hit would be an understatement! The couple and their family were so happy all day long and we were so happy to help their dream wedding come true.
