12Midnight: New Year's Eve Party

We know it's April and we're now 4 months into 2011, but we have been so busy with new client bookings and putting the finishing touches on our spring weddings, that we've gotten a little behind with blog posts! Better late than never- right? Anyway, we're SO EXCITED to show off some amazing images from our New Years Eve event by NYEPhilly.com! For the past 5 years, 12Midnight has been Philadelphia's hottest New Year's Eve Party and once again, we were lucky enough to manage this incredible event.

First off, a HUGE thank you goes out to Karlo Photography for covering the details. This is a massive event, with tons of people and crazy lighting and it can be difficult to photograph. Karlo captured the excitement and enjoyment in every photo- and did it with a smile on his face! He's so fantastic to work with and FUN to be around when onsite at an event. We highly recommend checking him out for your wedding or event- he's so great!

The BEAUTIFUL Crystal Tea Room, atop the Wanamaker Building, was the perfect setting for the party of the year. The Grand Ballroom, with its hand-carved columns and intricate crystal chandeliers, was the backdrop for an evening to remember. Finley Catering did an awesome job keeping the guests happy- with food displays of carving and pasta stations, lots of yummy hors d'oeuvres and PLENTY to drink! Our sponsors also put together a bunch of really amazing things, too. Korbel hosted the V-VIP Lounge and passed around some delicious champagne cocktails all night! FUZE developed a bunch of FUZEtinis that everyone absolutely loved! Popchips and MGD64 was everywhere for guests to grab and enjoy! Southern Comfort sponsored some tasty cocktails in the SoCo Lounge and Gentleman Jack sponsored the VIP area in the 50 foot atrium and passed around signature drinks for guests to sample. The guests appreciated the ample food stations and the fact that the bars had no lines- always fantastic when you're there to party!

The Philadelphia Funk Authority provided the entertainment for the evening, alongside DJ Mark Robuck, and DJ Ed Smooth performed in the VIP area. I have never seen so many people dancing! The entertainment was top-notch! Funtown Productions had some seriously sexy dancers on hand, too. The live-action bodypainter created artwork on the dancers right in front of guests- it was a hit!! Guests also had a fab time visiting the Photo Boxi and bidding on cool memorabilia at the Grandstand Sports Silent Auction- proceeds benefited CHOP and Philly Kick for the Cure. We featured special lighting, a balloon drop, 2 huge screens streaming the action in Times Square, and the 50-foot glass ceiling atrium, and every guest was in awe as soon as they walked in.

We hope you'll consider joining us for this one-of-a-kind New Year's Eve celebration again this year. Guests are sure to be impressed and more importantly, have an amazing time ringing in 2012. We're already excited about what's to come for this year, so be sure to stay tuned to the blog for all the excitement. Happy 2011 (a little late)!!
